"It's fine. Mom did try to harm you. Brother Gideon doesn't like any of us, so his anger toward me was obvious," Vivian remarked. "I am used to his behavior anyway, so it doesn't really bother me anymore."
Before Adeline could respond, Vivian pulled open the car door and climbed in. Adeline followed the Alpha Princess into the backseat and fastened her seatbelt.
The driver kept the engine idling, waiting for Evander to arrive. A moment later, the door clicked open as Evander hurried inside, and the driver immediately shifted into gear.
"Your Highnesses," Evander greeted them, adjusting his posture. He appeared to be in his mid-thirties and carried a distinctly serious, professional persona. "Forgive me for keeping you both waiting."
"It's alright. We didn't wait long anyway," Vivian answered smoothly before giving the driver instructions.
