Adeline slipped on the white lace gloves before a bouquet was placed into her hands. She gripped the stems tightly, her heart pounding nervously against her ribs as the moment drew closer.
"Miss, you look so breathtaking in this wedding gown," Rosie complimented. The other attendants agreed to her.
"Thank you. Even I can't believe myself looking like this," Adeline stated. She had been to weddings where she used to see the brides, but she never imagined that a day would come when she would be looking this gorgeous.
"Miss, you don't want any changes, do you?" the makeup artist asked one final time, stepping back to admire her work.
"No," Adeline replied. Still, she took one last look at herself in the large mirror. She looked different. Quite radiant, exactly as a bride should.
"Now, I'll lower the veil," the stylist said softly. Once the veil shielded her face, the woman carefully adjusted it so it draped elegantly down to her chest.
