The lectures went quite boring after lunch—or maybe I was just thinking of that mean girl. After all the lectures were over, me and my boys went to our cars. I saw Jayjay bidding goodbye to all her friends, then she walked with Ella towards Aries.
When she walks and the wind throws her hair over her face, and she tucks it behind her ear... she looks so cute.
Oh, I need to stop myself right now.
Wait, they left already? Oh shit! I have to pick up Keiran too! I quickly got in the car and drove to Keiran's playschool. He got out immediately and when he saw me, he yelled, "KUYAAAAAAAA!"
He jumped on me and I caught him in my arms. "Oh, my bravo! How was your day?" I asked.
"It was great! I enjoyed it! And do you know, on Friday when we stay until evening, a new girl will come and play with us? She came last week too and she is sooooooo nice!" he said, dragging out the "so."
"Okay, my boy. Now c'mon, let's get in the car," I said, putting him down.
"Kuya," he said once we were on the road. "I want chocolate and chips for Friday."
"And why do you need them? I remember you don't even like chips. So?" I asked.
"The Ate who is coming on Friday always brings snacks for us, and she loves chocolate and chips. So, I want to give her favorite things too! Do you know she specifically brings cup jelly and lollipops for me?" he said while playing with his bag straps.
"Okay. Btw, what's her name?" I asked casually.
"Umm... it's... sorry, I don't remember," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"That's fine," I said. After that, the ride was silent because Keiran fell asleep. Once we arrived home, I carefully lifted him, carried him to his room, and laid him on his bed.
"Mama, I'm back!" I called out. "Keiran is sleeping, so don't wake him up."
"Okay, dear," Mama said from the kitchen. I went to the dining table, ate my lunch, and then went to my room to do the homework our teachers gave us.
After 2 hours
Omg, this reel is so funny! Oh, wait—I'm supposed to be studying. After scrolling a little bit more, I went back to the books.
After 1 hour
All done! I yawned and stretched my arms backward. Then my phone buzzed. It was Aries.

Hey, wanna do a sleepover at my place?
To: Aries 👺
Yeah sure, but I don't want to face Percy or your sister.
From: Aries 👺
Yeah, Percy is out with his colleagues and your fiancé is sleeping.
To: Aries 👺
Yeah, then it's okay. Oh, you mean my "so-called" fiancé, right??
From: Aries 👺
Whatever. Just be here by 9 pm.
To: Aries 👺
Okay.
It was 8:40 PM. I figured I should head out for Aries' house. After a short drive, I reached his gate and called him. He picked up after just one ring.
Calling Aries 👺
"Hey, open the door," I said.
"Coming," he replied.
I cut the call and a few seconds later, he walked out. We both headed inside. While I was busy greeting his parents, Aries disappeared upstairs. Since he told me his room was on the second floor, I headed up.
Once I reached the landing, I saw two doors. I opened the first door I saw... and then my breath hitched.
I saw her. She was sleeping so peacefully, hugging a giant Snorlax plushie. The blanket was pulled up, but her arms were resting on top. She was wearing baby pink silk pajamas, and she looked so cute and adorable like that. After watching her for a moment, I quickly pulled myself together and went to the second room.
"Hey, where were you?" Aries asked as I walked in.
"Just finding your room," I said, trying to act cool as I sat on the couch behind the door.
"Oh. I hope you didn't go into the room next door. That's Jay's room, and she never locks her door," he said. I just nodded as if I hadn't just been standing there staring at her.
"Stay here. I'm just going to say goodbye to Mama and Papa and lock the main door," he said.
"Wait, your parents are going somewhere?" I asked.
"Yeah, they're heading to an event. They'll be back in the morning," he explained. I just said, "Ohh," and watched him head downstairs.
When he came back up, I decided to mess with him. "Hey dude, catch this!" I yelled, throwing a pillow at his face. He caught it and threw it right back. He went to the washroom and came out quickly, sitting on the edge of his bed.
Then, suddenly...
BANG!!
The bedroom door flew open with so much force it looked like someone had kicked it. And yeah, someone had kicked it. Standing there, looking very much awake and very much annoyed, was none other than Jayjay.
"Jay, what's this behavior?" Aries asked, startled.
"Nothing!" she said while grinning widely.
"Why are you here? Wait—" He looked at her arms filled with stuff. "I get it. You brought all your things and you're grinning widely. Are you planning to sleep here?" he asked, and she nodded.
"No," he said.
"But why? I'm getting bored in my room! I want to have some fun with my best kuya," she pouted.
"Ok fine," Aries sighed. "But Keifer, are you okay?" he asked, looking toward me on the couch.
I saw her freeze. "Do you think you can fool me with that jerk's name?" she asked sarcastically.
"Yeah, it's okay with me," I said, my voice deep.
She swallowed hard and peeked around the door. Our eyes met for a second. "Hi," she said awkwardly with a tiny wave, then she bolted with all her things. "HOROSCOPE, YOU'RE THE WORST!" she yelled from the hallway.
Aries and I both burst out laughing.
"Is your sister crazy?" I asked after catching my breath.
"She is not just my sister, she is your fiancé too, and she has a name—Jayjay," he said.
"Yeah, she is my fiancé. My SO-CALLED FIANCÉ," I shot back.
"Whatever. You're so boring, let me call the boys over too," he said, and I nodded.
"Wait," I said, stopping him.
"What?" he asked.
"Tell them to bring their girlfriends too. Because I don't want your sister interrupting us. If her gang comes, she'll be busy with them." I looked up from my phone. Aries was grinning so widely it was annoying.
"What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"You care about her," he teased.
"No, I just don't want her interrupting us," I insisted.
"Okay," he said, clearly not believing a word.
And yeah... I cared about her. I couldn't enjoy myself knowing she was in her room alone. Keif, focus. She hates you. You have to hate her, too. But I can't.
Jayjay'sPOV
Why did someone shut the main door so loud? It woke me up! Omg, why is it so dark? I checked my phone—9:05 PM. How did I sleep this much? And why is my door open a little?
Anyway, thank god I did my homework before my nap or I would have gotten scolded. I went to the bathroom and splashed water on my face because I was starving. I headed downstairs, drank a glass of milk, and ate an apple.
After filling my stomach, I went back upstairs. My room was looking so boring. I'll just sleep in Aries' room tonight, I thought. Wait—I'm in my pajamas. Oh, that's fine, it'll just be Aries anyway. I grabbed my small Snorlax, my pillow, my blanket, and my phone and headed over. I wanted a big entry, so I decided to kick the door.
One kick was enough to send the door flying open.
"Jay, what's this behavior?" Aries asked, startled.
"Nothing!" I said, grinning widely.
"Why are you here? Wait—" He looked at my arms filled with stuff. "I get it. You brought all your things and you're grinning. Are you planning to sleep here?"
I nodded happily.
"No," he said flatly.
"But why? I'm getting bored in my room! I want to have some fun with my best kuya," I pouted. He sighed.
"Okay, fine," he said. "But Keifer, are you okay?" he asked, looking toward the couch behind the door.
Wait. Did he just say... Keifer?
"Do you think you can fool me with that jerk's name?" I asked sarcastically.
"Yeah, it's okay with me," a deep voice came from behind the door.
I swallowed hard. My heart stopped. I slowly peeked behind the door and saw him sitting there.
"Hi," I said awkwardly, giving a tiny wave. Then I turned and sprinted back to my room with all my things as fast as I could.
"HOROSCOPE, YOU'RE THE WORST!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
Now I could hear them both laughing. I slammed my door, locked it, and leaned my back against the wood, my breathing heavy. Omg, that was terrible. Why is he here? Why couldn't he just speak before? Why didn't Aries tell me he was there?
What have I done? I'm going to die from embarrassment. Then my gaze shifted to myself—wait.
Oh shit!!! I was in front of him in my pajamas!
Suddenly my phone rang. I checked and saw my girlies were group calling. But why? Anyway, I picked it up.
"Jay!" they all yelled at the same time.
"Can you guys stop yelling my name?" I said.
"Aries told me that he and Keifer are doing a sleepover," Ella said, and I nodded.
"They both invited David too," Freya said.
"Yuri, 3," Rakki added.
"Danzel, 4," Grace chimed in.
"Calix, 5," Mica finished.
Ella and I burst out laughing. "Guys, can you stop with the numbers?" I said while holding my laughter back.
"So Jayjay, are we invited too?" Rakki asked.
"Of course, my life!" I said.
"Ohh, so Rakki is your life?" Freya teased.
"Yes, you all are my life—my white blood cells," I said.
"Okay, so my love, we are coming!" Ella said.
"Okay, and hurry up! I have a story," I said.
"Now I can't wait!" Grace said.
"Keifer is also there, so there will be a story," Mica said.
"R u all coming with your boyfriends?" I asked.
"Yeah, of course," Freya said.
"Okie then bye," I said.
"Bye!" they all said at the same time and I cut the call.
Okay, so now I should change. And I'm hungry again, but I'll eat with my girlies now. After changing, I went to our fun room, where our TV is, which is so big—bigger than Percy, even bigger than papa. There is a long and big sofa too, so I went there to make a set-up.
When I went there, I turned the lights on and I started putting a mattress which I dragged here, then one another then...
BAAM!
Wow, now I'm under this big mattress. Now what should I do?
"AAARIIIIESSSSSSS!" I yelled but I think my voice didn't reach them. Oh shit! This mattress is so big that I can't get out. Thank god I can take oxygen or I would be dead, but what should I do now?
Then I saw a shadow on the door and it was bigger than Aries. Is that—KEIFER?
Whoever it is, I don't care now, I need to get out of here and this guy needs to help me.
"Keifer," I said, my voice coming out weaker than I expected.
Then suddenly someone just lifted the mattress up, revealing me from down under it. It was not Aries, it was Keifer.
But what was he doing here? And why did he help me?
"Are you ok?" he asked while making me stand, then he dusted my back.
"Yeah, I'm ok, but what r u doing here?" I asked.
"Well, I wanted to go to the bathroom and Aries was in his bedroom's bathroom, so I decided to use the one which is downstairs. But then I saw the lights on in this room, and when I came here I saw this mattress—but it was looking propped up. So when you said my name, I understood what happened," he explained.
"Oh, thank you," I said.
"Well, why were you bringing mattresses here? I can see 4 out now," he said.
"Ahh, here is a TV, so I thought that me and my girls will be here for the night. So I started doing the set-up, but this stupid, heavy mattress fell on me while I was dragging it," I said and kicked the mattress.
He let out a small laugh. A genuine laugh.
"Ok, so these mattresses are so big, so u can't lift them alone. I'll help you," he said and I nodded because, honestly, he was right—I can't lift or drag them alone.
After helping me with the mattresses, he was looking out of the room like he was checking if any were left or not.
"Thank you," I said and he nodded.
Then he left. Honestly, he is handsome, I will not deny it... and I think I'm falling for this guy. Hoi Jayjay, no, never! Then I just went inside the room again and set some cushions and plushies on the mattresses, then I went to the kitchen and brought some snacks, bowls, and cold drinks. After that, I searched for some good horror movies. And then I found one.
