Jayjay's Pov:
Continuation of the Flashback
We had planned it all out: Percy would go to Keifer and give him a jump scare, and then I'd join in. I started walking toward my two brothers and Keifer, and our plan began. I stood slightly behind Percy and to the side so he could see me.
"Boo!" Percy shouted, giving Keifer a light push. Keifer spun around.
"Shi—" Keifer stopped mid-sentence. He was staring at me, not even blinking. Why was he looking at me like that?
"So, I remembered you said that boys don't get scared, Keifer. Why did you just jump then?" Percy asked with a smirk.
"Hi. I'm Keifer," he said, completely ignoring Percy and offering his hand to me for a handshake.
I didn't take it. Instead, I just gave a small wave and spoke in a bored tone. "Hello. I'm Jayjay, Aries and Percy's sister."
"C'mon, Percy, let's go. I don't want to stand here," I said, grabbing Percy's hand and pulling him away.
"Oh, Jayjay, don't you want to play with me or be friends?" Keifer asked, smiling as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"No!" I said directly.
"But why?" he asked.
"Because Percy told me that you're... uh, what was he again?" I forgot the word mid-sentence and looked at Percy.
"Arrogant," Percy supplied.
"Yeah, yeah, arrogant! I don't want to play with an arrogant boy," I declared.
"I'm not arrogant!" he protested.
"And when Percy was telling me this, Aries told him to stop calling you arrogant or you would beat Percy up. I don't want to play with a boy who is arrogant and beats up my kuya," I said.
"I've never beaten him!" Keifer insisted.
"I don't care," I said, walking away with Percy again.
"Oh, Ms. Shortie! Listen, you're the one starting this war, so this war is never going to end! I'm not arrogant, but you're rude and mean. No, scratch that—you're sooooooo mean!" he yelled after me.
"Okay guys, don't fight. And Jay, I only threatened Percy; Keifer has never actually beaten him," Aries clarified.
"Okay, fine. Let's play then," I said.
We all started playing together. Eventually, we decided to play a game that required teams.
"I'll be with Jayjay!" Keifer shouted, rushing over to my left side.
"No, she's my sister! I'll be with her!" Percy argued, taking my right side.
"No, I want to be with her!" Aries cut in, standing right in front of me.
"Papa! These three are fighting!" I screamed.
"Okay, I'll be with Percy. Percy, let Jayjay and Keifer be partners," Aries suggested.
"Fine," Percy muttered. I winked at him, and he immediately knew what I was up to.
"But I don't want to be with him! What if he hits me?" I said, letting out a pout.
"I never hit girls," Keifer said. Then, without warning, he suddenly kissed my pouty lips.
"Ohhhhhhhh!" both of my brothers cheered.
BAM! I punched Keifer right in the face.
"Oooooooooo!" This time it was only Percy cheering. Aries had to run and pick Keifer up because my punch had sent him sprawling onto the ground.
"Good punch, Jayjay!" Percy said, patting my back. I smiled.
"Oww... why did you punch me?" Keifer asked, nearly in tears.
"Because you kissed me, stupid!" I snapped, my brows frowning.
"Is that so?" he muttered. Suddenly, he grabbed my hand.
"Hey! Stay away from my sister!" Aries yelled, actually getting angry now.
"Keifer, leave Jay's hand right now!" Percy added. But Keifer wouldn't let go. I made another pout, mostly because I was getting bored and felt like punching someone again.
"Okay," Keifer said, finally letting go of my hand. But then he tried to kiss me again! This time, I shoved his chest so hard he fell backward onto the grass. I jumped on top of him and started slapping him, landing another punch for good measure.
"How dare you!" I yelled, giving him one more slap before the elders rushed over to stop us.
"Jayjay, what is this? Percy, Aries, why didn't you stop your sister?" Mom asked the three of us. Keifer's parents were busy dusting off his clothes.
"Mom, it's not my brothers' fault! It's Keifer's fault!" I said, pointing an accusing finger at him.
"How?" Mom asked, crossing her arms.
"First he kissed Jayjay, and then Jayjay punched him. But then he held Jayjay's hand and tried to kiss her again, but—" Percy started.
"But I beat him up for kissing me! I don't think he understood the first punch," I finished for Percy, since he was taking too long.
"That's my girl!" Tita Serena said, surprisingly laughing as she lifted me into her arms.
"Tita, why are you not angry at Jayjay? She just beat up your son!" Aries asked, confused.
"I'm not angry with her because she defended herself. Keifer, how dare you do that?" Tita said sternly.
"Ahhh... when she made that pout, she looked so cute that I just did it! It's not my fault, it's her fault! Why did she make that pout?" Keifer complained. "And get down, that's my mama!" he yelled at me.
"Keifer, behave or I will take your toys back," Tito Keizer warned. Keifer straightened up immediately.
"Okay, fine. But never do that again. Jayjay, you go play now," Tita said, putting me back down.
"Thank you, Tita!" I said, giving her a quick hug.
It was starting to turn dark, so I decided to start one last game. I grabbed Percy's hand and winked at Aries. He immediately caught on and grabbed Percy's other hand. Aries then signaled for Keifer to join us. Keifer understood the plan and followed, staying a little bit behind since we needed him as "backup."
The three of us led Percy a little further away from our parents, then suddenly let go of his hands and started running. We were laughing so hard that Percy could easily track us just by following our voices. He chased after us, screaming "Ghost! Ghost!" at the top of his lungs, which only made us laugh harder.
Eventually, Keifer, Aries, and I all huddled back together while Percy kept running around and screaming. Even our parents were laughing now, watching us enjoy the last bit of the evening.
Papa and Tito decided to set up a bonfire because it was getting cold. Percy was shivering—though I'm pretty sure it wasn't from the cold, but from the fear of ghosts. It was so funny!
Okay, Keifer was done. Percy was done. Only Aries was left. But how was I supposed to scare him? I thought hard... he was afraid of... nothing. Oh god, why is he not afraid of anything? Well, Keifer isn't either, but I beat him up, so he's handled. What should I do with Aries?
"Jaspher, Serena and I have decided we should do a BBQ now, so you should bring everything out from the car," Mama said to Papa.
"Okay," he replied. "Percy, Aries, come help me take the things out." They both nodded.
"Hey, should I come help?" Tito asked.
"No, no. We aren't leaving Jayjay and Keifer here alone. I don't think Jayjay will leave Keifer alive this time, so you should stay and keep an eye on them," Papa said. Tito nodded, laughing.
"Papa, if he doesn't tease me, I won't beat him!" I said, letting out another pout.
"Jayjay, you're making a pout again," Keifer said, grinning widely. Everyone laughed, but then I raised my fist as if I were going to punch him, and he stopped mid-laugh.
"Well... that punch was powerful," he admitted, and we all burst into laughter. Even I was laughing hard now.
"Papa, wait! I want to talk to Percy," I said, smirking. I think Percy knew exactly what I was thinking. He walked over to me and asked "What?" with a smirk of his own.
"So, I've beaten Keifer and teased you, so only Aries is left," I whispered. "I'll follow you guys to the car. We'll make Papa head back, then you call Keifer over, and we'll lock Aries in the car."
Percy nodded, and I signaled for Keifer to come over so I could explain the plan. Then Papa, Aries, and Percy started walking toward the car, and Keifer and I followed.
"Papa, I think Mama needs you for something!" I said. Papa headed back, and our plan officially began.
But somehow, while we were trying to shove Aries into the car, Keifer, Percy, and I all ended up inside. Aries slipped out the other side and slammed the door shut. Click. He had the car keys! Now Keifer, Percy, and I were the ones locked in.
"Jayjay, it's your fault! We all know how clever Aries is. Now what do we do?" Keifer complained, sounding annoyed.
"Hey! Why did you agree to it then, if it's my sister's fault?" Percy snapped back.
"Can you guys please shut up? Let me think!" I yelled. They actually went quiet.
Wait! From which side did Aries get out? The window is open—FULL OPEN! Yay!
"HEY! HEY!" I yelled, and they both looked at me.
"You don't need to yell, we're right here," Keifer said in a bored tone.
"You just shut up!" I snapped.
"Can you guys stop? And Jay, what happened? Why did you yell?" Percy asked.
"Look! The window on your side is open. Didn't you see it? Are you blind?" I asked Percy.
"Oh! Yes! We're saved!" he said. "Okay, first I'll go out, then I'll help you two out, okay?"
We helped Percy get out—well, actually, only Keifer helped him. And then... he just ran away! He left us there! I looked at Keifer and saw that he was already looking at me.
"So," he said.
"What?" I asked.
"I'll go out, then I'll help you come out. Is that okay?" he asked. I just nodded, feeling totally betrayed by my own brothers.
"No, no. First, I'll get you out, then I'll go out," he corrected. I moved over to Percy's seat, and then I was halfway out of the window. Keifer lifted me until I was fully out, and then he climbed out himself.
Oh shit... this spot is so far from where our parents are!
I started panicking—I don't know why, but I started crying.
Suddenly, Keifer hugged me tightly, like I'd disappear if he let go. "Hey, shhh. Everything is alright. We're going to be okay," he whispered. He pulled away from the hug, wiped my tears, and said, "Now stop crying. C'mon, let's go back to our parents."
We started walking side by side. I was holding his arm so tightly, and whenever a bush moved, I clutched him even harder.
"Jay, you're holding too tight! Your nails are digging into my skin. Loosen your grip," he complained.
"I don't even have nails!" I argued, showing him my hands.
"Okay, fine! But look, we're almost there. See that light?" He pointed toward the bonfire. I didn't think twice; I just ran as fast as I could. The first person I saw was Percy. I was so angry because he had left me!
I marched straight up to him and—BAAM! A punch straight to his jaw.
"Jayjay! Why did you punch your kuya now?" Mama asked, shocked.
"He left Keifer and me in the car!" I shouted.
"Well, if you did that, it's not good, Percy. Behave," Mama warned him. Then she turned to me. "And next time, don't punch people." I wasn't convinced, but I nodded. I went to Aries, and he hugged me.
"I can see from your cheeks that you were crying," Aries said softly. "What happened to my Sleepyhead? Did Keifer do something?" I shook my head.
"No, Keifer didn't do anything. I was just scared because we were so far away," I explained.
Aries pulled away and looked me in the eye. "Okay, Sleepyhead. But I never want to see a tear in your eyes again... so don't plan anything against me, okay?" I nodded.
"My mischievous, dangerous, little queen," Papa said, joining us. "Never plan anything like that again. I know you're little and kids do things like that, but you're a good girl, right?"
"Yes, Papa. But wait... how did you know about the plan?" Then I saw Aries' mischievous grin. "ARIESSSSSSSSSSSS!" I yelled.
I started chasing him as he ran away, but I suddenly slammed into someone. Who had the nerve to bump into me? I looked up—it was that annoying brat. Keifer.
"Why are you running?" he asked.
"None of your business," I said sarcastically.
"Oh, so when you were stuck in the car, it was my business to get you out?" he retorted.
"Yes, because it was your fault!"
"How? I didn't plan it, you planned it!"
"You could have stopped me! I didn't force you to join!" I snapped. Before he could respond, Mama called us for the BBQ. We went to eat, and somehow, I ended up sitting next to Keifer.
"So, you're sitting with me?" he asked.
"Are you blind? Can't you see?" I replied, focused on my food. Suddenly, he started eating from my plate.
"HEY!" I smacked his hand. "Your plate is right in front of you. Eat your own food!"
He looked at me in confusion. "Oh, sorry. I thought this was my plate."
"Ohhh! I didn't know Mark Keifer Watson apologized to anyone. Wow," Percy teased.
"I think he's fallen for our sister," Aries added.
"I could never fall for a Shortie," Keifer said. "And her punches are too strong. I'm not falling for a girl who will punch me for the rest of my life!"
Everyone burst into laughter. "I'm not a Shortie! You're the Eiffel Tower here!" I yelled.
"Okay guys, be quiet and eat in peace," Papa commanded. After that, no one dared to speak. The elders kept talking, but Keifer, Aries, Percy, and I were quiet. After eating, Aries and Keifer went to throw away the garbage, and after tidying up all the mess, we got in the cars and went home. As soon as I entered my room, I lay on my bed and fell fast asleep.
End of Flashback
"Ohh so that Mr tried to kiss you but you punched him" Ella said in a teasing tone
"Poor keifer" Freya said
"Omg jay, he consoled u when you were crying" Rakki said
"And I was thinking that he is rude and mean" grace said
"Ok guys now stop" I said
"The story which u tell, in it didn't seem like you two were enemies so how you became enemies?" Ella asked
"Yeah tell us how?" Rakki asked
"Girl just say it" grace said
"Spill the tea" Freya said and slammed her palm on the table
Ring ring,
Thank god bell rang or I have to tell them everything
"Later guys now it's class time" I said and I ran bcz they might start teasing me again
BOOM! I bumped in someone's chest and I fell on the ground
"Ouch" I said while rubbing my forehead my face was covered with my hairs so I couldn't see who I bumped in and the man also won't be able to see my face
"R u ok" he asked and I just nodded
Then I stand up and saw, that there was him that annoying jerk
"You again bumbed into me" I asked
"You were running so blindly that YOU bumped in me" he said
"Whatever" I said and pushed him lightly to clear my path and went to class
The lectures went so boring—or I was thinking of that annoying jerk
Me and my girls were going outside and then they all went to their boyfriends and me and Ella went to Aries
We all get in the car Aries in driver seat obviously, Ella in the passenger seat she said me to come in passenger seat but I just said no bcz she is the girlfriend and it's her seat so I went in the back.
First we dropped Ella and then we went to our home
Once I entered the house I saw Percy standing, clearly waiting for me
"Percyyyyyyyyyyy" I yelled and jumped at him and hugged him, after a while we pulled away
"Oh my baby sista, did your fiancé teased u or did something or said something to U" he said and start spinning like seeing like if I'm ok
"I'm fine nothing happened" I said with a smile
"Did keifer and Aries gang uped on u" he asked
"No but me and my girlies gang uped on them" I said while grinning
"That's my girl" he said and we slapped or palms
"Ohh so you forget your papa now, only Percy mattered to u" papa said dramaticly while crossing his arms
"No my papa matters me more" I said and hugged him
After that we all went to dining table and ate our lunch
After lunch I was so tired that I took a bath and slept for a while.
