A total of five houses were invited to the banquet, all either Earls, Marquesses, or Dukes.
All the guests attended as couples, and the three additional guests Cheryl, Ethan, and Hirkan brought up the guest count to thirteen.
The Emperor and Prince Hession were to attend as well.
It was quite a surprise to see that Hession had decided to make an appearance.
He had been avoiding all social events under the notion that he was in recovery.
With the most prominent figures of the entire empire present, the banquet hall was dignified simply by the guests’ presence.
“Woah……”
“T, that building looks so cool.”
“Tell me about it. Is that shiny roof all made out of gold?”
This being their first visit to the imperial palace, Cheryl and Ethan were busy looking around.
I had to hold their hands and show them the way because they were too caught up marveling at the beautiful scenery.
They leaned in and whispered in my ears from time to time.
