The world returned to Kira as he woke up.
His eyes, hovering through his surrounding as he lay down.
Observing.
"Ugh, where am I", He said in a low voice to himself.
He lays still, listening.
Wind brushed against the tent, a hollow whisper. Leather straps creaked. Metal clinked softly somewhere nearby with a sound of fire.
Suddenly something starts to echo in his mind.
A snarl.
A red eyes through the trees.
Fangs.
Suddenly~
His eyes snapped open
A rough canvas ceiling hovered above him, lit by a trembling amber glow. Shadows shifted like a ghost across its surface. For a moment he couldn't move. His body felt distant... stitched together by pain.
He tried to rise but pain surged through his ribs, forcing a broken gasp from his lips. His hand instinctively pressed against his side ~ Bandages with a blood on them.
"Am I alive....", He ask to himself with a disbelief
"You are alright."
The voice came from the edge of firelight.
Steady. Disciplined.
He turned his heads slowly.
A figure stood near the test entrance, clad in dark, ornate Armor The metal bore engraved pattern. A crimson cloak hung from his shoulder.
Not a common soldier.
A royal guard.
The man stepped forward, boots firm against the ground.
"Are you ok", He asked
Kira eyes were wide opened
"Yes....", Kira said
Suddenly someone came from came from behind, through the tent entrance.
"Oh, you are awake."
It was a girl and she was not alone. Behind her a boy with black hair and approx. 18 years old enters following her.
"He seems to be alright", The man said turning his face towards the girl.
"You should thank to her. If she was not here, then you would have died as she is the only one in the group who healing blessing.", He said smiling.
"It's my job and anyway what your name", She asked looking at me.
"My name.... my name is Kira"
"Kira...It's a nice name", The boy standing behind the girl said.
"You think so", The man said
"Yeah"
"Gurr~...", The sound came through Kira empty stomach, echoing louder than the silence in the tent. His eyes froze ~ every person in the room started looking at him.
"Hey, it seems like you are hungry"
"Come out then, you can eat all you want outside"
Kira and others went outside
The campfire was burning brightly. At the side of it there were some cook fishes.
There were in total four people, excluding Kira.
The man, the boy and a girl and forth one was sleeping somewhere in another tent.
The night had settled into quiet, endless expanse.
Kira sat beside a crackling campfire, its flams whispering softly ~crack... hiss.... pop as sparks drifted upwards like fleeting fireflies. Warm light flickered across his face, casting shifting shadows that dance with every moment of fire.
Beyond the circle of warmth, the world faded into shadows.
He titled his head back.
The sky opened above him~ vast, deep, and clear. The countless stars were sparkling and were scattered like a silver dust. Some sparkled faintly, other shone shrap and steady as if watching him silently.
And there hanging above it all~
The moon.
Pale and serene, it bathed the land in a soft, white glow spilling over the trees and the distant hill.
Kira watched it silently with his calm eyes.
For a moment, He forgot all his pain, hunger, fear.
All of it seemed small beneath the endless sparkling sky.
Only the fire crackled beside him... and universe stretched silently above.
"Eat this"
The calm and peaceful voice came into his ears.
He turned his face towards her.
She was offering Kira cooked fish to eat.
Kira who was starving for five days finally got something to eat and he didn't refuse.
It was an odd taste for him, but he still ate as it was still tasty for him.
"Hey, are you from village Rigor. The one which was attacked three days ago", She asked me.
".... umm...., No I am not", I mummer.
"Then, where are you from?"
"I don't know"
"it's little bit strange", She said as she was getting suspicious of something.
"Ino, you should not say like that", The man spoke up
"But..."
"Don't worry for him. I know you want to help him but right now he is not in a situation of that."
"I can help him", The boy spoke up
"I can use my blessing to see his past and then we can help him", He said lifiting his right hand at front, palm upward.
"Bu...~."
"You are my true friend, Ino said cutting man words
Kira was looking at them eating fish as he doesn't understand anything they said.
"Now we can help you", Ino said
The boy then started walking towards him and as he reached, he put his hand at front, palm upwards.
"Grab it", He said
"umm... cant we do this tomorrow", The man said showing concern for me.
"Don't be so stubborn Steven now", The girl said
"Ugh... ok then do it"
I then grabbed the hand of the boy who was standing at my front.
"sigh..., Blessing authority
As he said His eyes which was black change into yellow and its pupil turns into hands of clock, spinning rapidly.
In those moments all the sufferings which Kira faced started appearing in his mind.
The striking sound.
The purple Smoke.
The blood.
And in last Arc last moments.
All of it rushed through his mind and once its end, He fall down ~sweating and shivering all over.
"..monster...", He said trembling and in a cracking voice pointing towards him
"..He is a monster...., He is the one who killed our commander..."
Silence spread.
Ino was stunned~ Steaven head was down and Kira was confused.
"Is it true", Steaven said
".... yes...it is what I saw"
"Then, I am sorry Kira", and as he completed his sentence, He pull his sword out of its sheath which was same as Kira saw before becoming unconscious.
Kira was stunned but was unable to react as Steaven came close and smashed the bottom of the sword on his back~ close to his shoulder.
The moments he smashed his sword; Kira spilled his saliva on the ground and was unconscious second time.
