"Ugh, what is this?"
A thin ray of sunlight slipped through the narrow-rusted bars, cutting across a darkness like a blade. It landed directly on his face.
His eyes twitched.
His body felt heavy~ every limb stiff, every breath slightly painful, as if the night itself had pressed him into the cold stone floor.
He slowly opened his eyes.
The tears were flowing through his eyes as he saw something horrified.
A nightmare.
Suddenly he heard an echo of footstep coming towards him.
And then~
A figure.
Right in front of him.
It was Draves or to be specific old man standing beyond the bars, unmoving.
Behind him stood two guards.
Their eyes fixed on Kira, cursed child without a trace of emotion.
The air felt... heavy.
The old man took a single step closer, the faint echo of his movement breaking the suffocation silence.
"Let's go, then"
Kira, still depressed, doesn't understand anything which old man said yesternight and now but still he thought of not asking anything and give his approval.
"Ok..."
"You heard him, right", old man spoke turning his head towards the guards and they nodded.
The one of the guards, then opened the gate and started walking towards the Kira.
Kira found this suspicious but doesn't react on it. As his point of view, he just wants things simple for now after all the incidents.
The guard stood at front of him, observing him silently and then put his hand forward, palm facing upward.
This caught Kira by surprise, but he understood that Guard was asking him to give scarf which he had wrapped around his neck.
He does as the guard ask him and then he put his one hand backwards. At his pocket and took black blindfold.
The guard then blindfolded Kira and hold him up like how a mother hold his child with her hands.
Kira was blindfolded; thus, he was not able to see anything, and he had to rely on his hearing but neither Drave nor the guards spoke as they walk.
The only sound which he was hearing was of the footsteps.
Suddenly, someone came towards them and broke this deep silence.
"So, this is a curse child... huh".
"Yes, Lisa and where are you going."
"Me, I was going towards the Trials", Saying this she grabbed Kira hand. This caught Guards surprise and they put their guards on.
"What are you doing, Warden of wisdom", One of the guards spoke up.
"Chill man, I am doing nothing man", Lisa said smiling but soon she started her blessing authority. "Blessed authority
Suddenly a blue light starts to come out from the gap between hands of Kira and Lisa which they were holding." I see", Lisa said.
"What was that, miss Lisa", One of the guards said.
"It was nothing man and now you can go"
"Thanks, miss Lisa", Draves spoke up
And the three of them started walking forward and behind them stood Lisa watching them and whispering something to her own.
"You are right, Draves", She whispered
After few minutes, three of them stood against the door. Beyond the door is where the Trials will start.
Kira who was blindfolded doesn't even where he was, only thing he rembered was Lisa sensational touch which he felt before but sensing the silence he understands that he was at front of the door, which will decide it future.
Beyond the door, loud noises of crowd were coming which indicate that there were many peoples beyond the door.
"Let's go then", Draves said.
The door opened and white light came covering their faces and decreasing their visibility.
The noises which were coming were suddenly become quiet and,
