Hidden door
When they see the ancient symbol cracked silent fell through the Hall C. Nobody moved for second.
Then-
A full blown scream came from the med room.
The scream of the student who had touched the iron door and try to open it. His hands were burned completely.
Everybody didn't say a word for seconds then
They started talking fast frantic
"Oh my god, did you just hear that"
"I was right didn't i say that"
"How foolish of that student. I bet it's a fool commoner"
"It's just a burn why did he scream like that."
Liu was shaking. Her leg trembled. Diana supported her to stand up by waist.
Then suddenly --
What are you doing?!" Harley demanded, stepping forward and shoving Diana's hand away from Liu's waist.
Liu stumbled backward, her weak legs giving out, but Zia caught her before she could hit the stone floor.
"Liu, are you okay? What happened?!" Zia asked, her voice laced with panic.
Diana eyes narrowed towards Harley and her jaw clinched before she could say anything
Khushi, "step aside from my friend Diana"
Diana," i was helping her. Said in a really cold voice. How dare you touch me."
Harely, "we didn't mean to but how could I ever let someone as you get close to my friend."
Diana," i was not hurting her. I was taking care of her."
Khushi, "oh! Please we all know how much you care about others.'
Kirti,".... Diana, i don't know what peculiar interest you have in liu but you don't get close to her ever. We don't want a Playgirl near my innocent freind."
Diana, "how dare you mock m-"
Liu, cutting through the sentence "Guys she was just helping me... She didn't do anything."
The atmosphere around the group was tense. The group was protecting liu from diana.
In the argument a voice heavy and deep break through.
"Attention!!!! Student, everybody is going to return towards their dorm right now. And nobody is going near this door and Hall C.
Do you understand me!!!"
All the students," We do sir!!!"
Professor kayle, "Nobody is going outside their dorm until we give you permission. And this whatever has happened is not going outside this school remember it.."
All the students scattered and return to their dorm in hurry. When they were on their way
Liu and the group, Diana has gone before anyone of them even notice.
Harley, "liu i don't know what you have with diana but I will warn you she is not what you think."
Khushi," liu we are going to talk about it."
After returning to their dorm.
Khushi," liu what happened? How the hell did you meet that playgirl."
Liu, "Playgirl?? What are you talking about diana a playgirl..... And how do I even believe this."
Khushi," she is famous for her reputation for running innocent people. She did many bad things and you don't need to know about her at all."
Liu, "b-but-"
Khushi, "no but. She is not good person. Please you're my friend,my everything don't believe in her easily..."
Liu, "i was not going to engage with her either I just met her."
Khushi," good. Now tell me what happened we saw you almost falling. What did she did to you."
Liu," no.. she didn't did to me anything. My power is just blocked remember. I can't control my power. And the power from the iron gate overwhelmed me and I just couldn't stand straight that's it... I swear."
Khushi," liu... ( Khushi knew liu was lying but she didn't push any further) Just know that I am here."
Liu looked at khushi and sees that there is someone beside her. She looked at her with hope.
It was night time. Everybody was asleep, but for the first time khushi didn't sleep early like a log. Liu was asleep too tired to keep her eyes even open.
Liu was lying on her bed peacefull. Khushi came to get water from their tank. And she didn't leave just stayed near liu. She sat beside liu.
Khushi, "liu i know that you are lying but... I want you to know we are here. I am worried for you... So, please talk to me with anything. I can't see you anymore suffering like that."
After saying her feelings khushi returned to her bed and fall asleep.
Liu was long gone to another world again...
Liu woke up not in field of dandelion this time. Not with the woman or anything. It was more weird cause it was like her world.
The world where liu woke up this time was same like her world but how....
The street light dimp a little. Street wenders and hawkers were returning to their home. The path was made from stone just like her world.
Homeless people were sleeping in a dark alley. Driven by hunger, the children snatched bread from the shopkeeper and vanished into the crowded alleys.
The same cruel world like her.
But it was different because... The show owner were giving bread that didn't sell to people.... There was a shelter were homeless people were sleeping.
A noble lady and a commonar boy were walking together.. not one step ahead not one step behind, together.
Aladycame up to liu.
'Hey little lady, are you alone?? Where are your parents? Do you have shelter.."
Liu was stunned cause she never heard someone talking to her like that sweetly asking about her parents weird...
The woman looked down at Liu, her gaze softening with a strange maternal warmth that felt entirely out of place in the gloom."Do you remember your name?" she asked, her voice a gentle contrast to the shadows.
Liu hesitated, the silence stretching between them for a fragile second before she managed a quiet whisper. "…Liu."
The woman blinked, a brief flicker of surprise crossing her features before a soft smile took its place. "Liu? What are you doing out here all alone this late?"
Liu froze, the blood running cold in her veins."You should be back in your dorm by now," the woman continued, her tone filled with honest, well-meaning concern. "Wait here, alright? I'll call your mother."
The air left Liu's lungs in a sharp, sudden gasp. Mother? Her mind spiraled into instant chaos, questions hammering against her skull. What was happening? How could this stranger possibly know who she was? She had never set foot in this era before. Had she?
Without waiting for a response, the woman turned and glided away, her silhouette dissolving into the dim, flickering lanterns of the cobblestone street. Left behind in the misty darkness, a cold dread gripped Liu's chest. The woman's kindness only made the mystery deeper, more unnatural.
For the first time since crossing the threshold into this bizarre, mysterious world, Liu felt a terrifying wave of fear—one far heavier and more suffocating than the iron door she had left behind.
