In the Derog Empire when the report of corruption from the Holy empire came out,the Derog Empire was in chaos. To appease the holy lord the father, the royal and the noble family started showing off their good work. The started doing business with them and trying to make connections with them. But the great holy Father was not easy to pleased.
The emperor of the Derog Empire has the duty to see the corruption and stop it. But he has failed his duty. So to appease the holy emperor, the emperor of the Derog Empire find a solution for it which was adopting the orphan children. This idea seems good but the reality was darker.
Their idea was to adopt the children keep them healthy, happy and good for some time until the checking of the holy empire is done. And after it they would throw them out with some money to keep their mouth shut or would just kill them.
And they procceeds with this idea. But some were far cruel they didn't throw the children away they kept them as their slave or worse as their dog. The abuse them until they were satisfied. Some children die in this abuse. And whoever stand up against this was also killed. They beat them until they were satisfied.They didn't care if they cough blood or they lay unconscious there.
In children eyes they were worse then monster.
But some child were expectional. The family didn't throw them out not did they die. Cause they had talent. Talent for magic, leadership,swordmanship, crafting or even dark magic.
