Chapter 12 - CHAPTER 11

THE GRIND

AND THE GLITZ CONTINUE

The weeks following the first shoot were a whirlwind of double lives.

By day, Massimo was calculating circuit resistance in the Engineering block; by night, he was the face of a corporate empire in the "Only Want You" universe.

"The Midnight Oil"

The trio were in a video call discussing their day activities.

Massimo would be in his trailer, still in full makeup as Liam, while Clara sat on the floor of the lodge with her Medical Lab slides, and Kamsi worked on her Computer Science algorithms.

"Max, stop looking at the script for a second," Kamsi commanded through the screen. "I just submitted your Lab 4 report. You owe me big time."

"I know, I know," Massimo laughed, leaning into the camera. "I'm bringing back a suitcase full of the best imported chocolates for Clara and those rare vintage tech parts you wanted, Kamsi. Just keep me in the clear for one more week."

Kamsi had three monitors set up, her fingers flying across the keys as she finalized a custom encryption for their business database. Clara was sprawled on the rug, surrounded by colored atlas plates of human anatomy and glass slides she had borrowed from the lab to practice her staining techniques.

"Max, if you don't stop pacing, I'm going to accidentally mislabel this superior vena cava," Clara muttered, not looking up from her textbook.

Massimo was leaning against the wall, a script in his hand . "I have the 'Boardroom Confrontation' tomorrow, Clara. The lines are easy, but the subtext with Gemini is... complex."

"It's not the lines, it's the tension," Kamsi chimed in, spinning her chair around. "I just saw the raw edits from the 'Elevator Encounter.' Max, the way you looked at him when he was panting from that run? That wasn't 'annoyance.' That was 'I-want-to-buy-this-man-the-entire-building' energy."

"Back to the set"

The next day, the production moved to a luxury penthouse location overlooking the city skyline. This was the scene where the professional boundary between Liam (Massimo) and Aria (Gemini) finally shattered.

"Action!"

The room was dimly lit, the city lights reflecting off the glass walls. Aria was late again, stumbling into the penthouse with a coffee tray and a look of pure exhaustion. He looked "cheesy" in his oversized intern blazer, a contrast to Liam, who stood by the window in a silk waistcoat, looking every bit the apex predator.

"I... I have the reports, sir," Gemini stammered, his voice trailing off as Massimo turned around.

Massimo didn't speak. He walked toward him, each footstep echoing on the marble floor. He stopped so close that Gemini had to tilt his head back. Massimo reached out, not for the reports, but for Gemini's hand, steadying the trembling coffee tray.

"You're always running, Aria," Massimo murmured, his voice dropping to a dangerous, silken register. "But you never seem to get anywhere."

He took the tray and set it on a side table without breaking eye contact. Then, in a move that made the Director lean forward in his chair, Massimo reached out and began unbuttoning Gemini's "cheesy" blazer.

"This doesn't fit you," Massimo whispered, his knuckles brushing against Gemini's chest through his thin shirt. He slid the blazer off Gemini's shoulders, letting it drop to the floor. "Nothing about this 'assistant' life fits you."

Gemini's breath hitched. He reached up, his fingers trembling as he touched the silver watch on Massimo's wrist, then moved up to grab the lapels of Massimo's waistcoat.

"Then tell me what fits, Mr Liam."

Massimo leaned in, his lips hovering just a breath away from Gemini's forehead before sliding down to his cheek. He didn't kiss him; instead, he buried his face in the crook of Gemini's neck, inhaling deeply. "You stay," Massimo commanded, his hand tangling in the hair at the nape of Gemini's neck, pulling him firmly against his chest. "You stay right here where I can see you."

"CUT!

THAT'S A WRAP ON THE PENTHOUSE!"

"The Global Explosion"

When the "Penthouse Teaser" dropped that Friday, the internet didn't just react—it broke. The hashtag #LiamAria trended #1 globally within three hours.

Back at the lodge, Clara and Kamsi were feeling the heat so they video called Massimo

"Max, we have a problem," Kamsi said, looking at her screen with wide eyes. "A good problem, but a big one.

"Both the Penthouse Teaser and the Elevator Encounter just went viral—simultaneously. People are making split-screen edits, countdowns, and even fan theories about your next scenes."

The 'ONLY WANT YOU' official page just hit 5 million followers. And your personal account? It's gaining 100k every ten minutes."

Clara walked in, carrying a tray of the meat pies and cakes Massimo had stocked up on. She popped a chocolate into her mouth and shrugged.

"Well, I hope you're ready, Mr. Movie Star.

Because I just got back from the Medical Lab, and even the professors were whispering about 'that handsome Engineering student' in the viral video."

Massimo sat down looking at his two best friends—the coder and the scientist—and realized that while his face was on every screen in the country, his heart was right here in this off-campus lodge.

"The fame is just a tool," Massimo said, his eyes sharp. "Kamsi, use the traffic to launch the new tech-wear line.

Clara leaned over, scanning the comments. "Look at this—'The CEO and the Assistant are untouchable,' 'Liam and Aria chemistry is peak 2026,' and… wait… someone just predicted the boardroom confrontation lines."

Clara, keep me focused on the exams. We aren't just making a movie. We're building a kingdom."

Massimo raised an eyebrow, a sly smile forming. "Predicted the lines? They're practically rewriting the script before we even shoot it."

Kamsi tapped rapidly on her keyboard, opening analytics dashboards.

"Both teasers together are pushing search traffic through the roof.

Our tech-wear site just had three separate crashes in under an hour.

Max… the momentum is insane. If we play this right, it's not just a movie—it's a lifestyle brand now."

Massimo leaned back, taking it all in. "Bothteasers, one explosion."

The world is paying attention, but the key isn't just being seen. It's controlling what they see and how they react."

Clara smiled, finally putting down the tray of treats. "So… we're officially unstoppable?"

Kamsi grinned. "Unstoppable, unbreakable… and now unmissable."

As they sat together, the glow of the laptop screens illuminating their faces, the "Inseparable Trio" knew they were no longer just students.

They were the architects of their own destiny, and the world was finally paying attention.

"The Double Shadow"

The month-long shoot didn't just produce a movie; it forged a bond that was becoming legendary on set.

Massimo and Gemini were now inseparable. Because they were living on-set together for the month, they had developed a rhythm that blurred the lines between their characters and their real lives.

Anywhere you saw Massimo, you saw Gemini.

If Massimo was at the catering table, Gemini was there picking out a snack for him.

If Gemini was rehearsing a difficult emotional beat, Massimo was in the corner, watching intensely and offering a steadying hand.

They had become a "package deal."

One evening, during a break in the heavy "Office Romance" filming, the girls called him.

They saw Gemini in the background of the video call, leaning his head on Massimo's shoulder as they both looked over a technical Engineering diagram Massimo was trying to solve between takes.

"Is that Gemini helping you with Electromagnetics?" Clara asked, her eyes widening.

"He's actually a faster learner than he looks," Massimo said, looking at Gemini with a genuine, soft smile. "He keeps me grounded when the 'CEO' persona gets too exhausting. He's part of the circle now."

"The Homecoming"

By the end of the month, the production of the first block of "ONLY WANT YOU" wrapped.

Massimo headed to the airport, not just as a student, but as a man whose face was now plastered on billboards across the city.

When he finally pulled up to the off-campus lodge, he wasn't alone.

Gemini was with him, having decided to take a break from the city to see the "base of operations" Massimo talked about so much.

Clara and Kamsi ran out to the porch, but they stopped short when they saw the two of them step out of the car.

Massimo and Gemini were dressed in matching dark tones, their chemistry so thick it felt like the air around them was vibrating.

"We're back," Massimo announced, grabbing the bags—which, as promised, were stuffed with sweets for Clara and savory treats for Kamsi.

As they walked into the lodge, the "Trio" had officially expanded.

The scientist, the coder, the engineer, and the actor—a powerhouse alliance that was about to turn the university, and the industry, completely upside down.
