Claudia can be seen scattering her room, she threw away anything that she can lay her hands on, anyone with eyes can clearly see that she is enraged, the servants were scared to enter her room and Grace the head house keeper called Martha to calm her down
"What's seems to be the issue and why are you destroying your room?"Martha yelled as she opened Claudia's room narrowly dodging a vase
"How dare she take what belongs to me and humiliate me in public!!!" Claudia shouted vaguely answering her mum
"Who are you talking about, just tell me a name and I will deal with her rather than sulking and throwing tantrums here"
"She said that her name is Cassidy Jordan and Samuel was very scared of her or maybe her family, Robert was made to knell and apologize to her infront of everyone,I'm so angry mum,I want to get back at that bitch" Claudia eyes became bloodshot as a result of anger and she was fuming and vibrating
"Did you just say Cassidy Jordon?" Martha asked in a surprised tone
"Yes mum, do you know the bitch?"
"I more than know about her,you remember the story I told you about switching children when I was still a midwife"
"Yes I remember, you told me about this yesterday but what does the story have to do with this bitch"
"Claudia you can be foolish that sometimes I also think that you were switched, the child in my story is the same girl ,she is the Cassidy Jordon, the child on my cousin that I switched, she is now the daughter of the notorious Jordon family who we can't mess with now because they are dangerous but I have already met with them to tell them that the child they took was exchanged with you and you are now telling me that the same girl humiliated you ,Did you talk back at her?"Martha asked her brows raised
"No mum I didn't,Robert and Nelly were the ones that talked to her,I was just observing at the corner"Claudia replied as she calmed down
"I've always told you to stay away from that Robert,he is an illegitimate child, the child of a prostitute,he has no future for you or even for himself " Martha said looking at her daughter with contempt
"I don't like Robert,he's just a lackey. I have always crushed on Samuel but that bitch took him away from me this night, mum when are you going back to the Jordon family with Dad,I want to go back there with you so that I can see the family I'm going to take away from that Cassidy girl,I don't like her and i already want her gone by any means possible"Claudia declared as she smiled in a chilling way
"Claudia you shouldn't always say out your thoughts because you don't always know who is listening, but to answer your question,I and your Dad are planning to go back tomorrow with a DNA result that can prove that you are their daughter"
"But I'm not really their daughter, how did you do it mum?"Claudia asked curiously
"You don't have to worry about that ,just come with us tomorrow and I will take care of everything"Martha replied as she squeezed her daughter's hands tenderly

The next day dawned with a deceptive calmness. The sun, a cruel voyeur, watched as Martha and Claudia prepared for their visit to the Jordon family. Claudia, a whirlwind of nervous energy, flitted around the house, her earlier composure replaced by a frenetic excitement. She couldn't stop herself from imagining the look on Cassidy's face when they revealed the truth, the moment when her carefully constructed world would crumble.
Martha, in stark contrast, was a picture of controlled elegance. Her movements were precise, her expression a carefully crafted mask. She was a woman who understood the power of secrets, the delicate dance of manipulation, and the intoxicating thrill of control. She knew the Jordons, knew their weaknesses, and knew how to exploit them.
As they drove, the city unfolded before them, a tapestry of bustling streets and towering buildings. Claudia, staring out the window, felt a surge of anticipation. This was her chance, her opportunity to reclaim what she believed was rightfully hers. She would have the life, the status, the power that had been stolen from her.
The Jordon mansion, when they arrived, was a monument to wealth and privilege. The gates swung open with a silent grace, and they were ushered into a world of opulence. The air was thick with the scent of expensive perfume and freshly cut flowers. Servants glided through the hallways, their faces impassive, their movements silent.
They were led to a grand living room, where the matriarch of the Jordon family, Claire, awaited them. Claire was a woman of formidable presence, her eyes sharp, her gaze unwavering. She was a woman who had seen much, endured much, and survived much. She was not easily fooled.
"Martha Johnson," greeted, her voice cool and measured. "To what do we owe the pleasure?"
Martha met Claire's gaze, her own expression a study in composure. "Mrs Jordon, it's good to see you. We have something important to show you prior to my husband's and I's last visit."
Claudia, unable to contain herself, blurted out, "We have proof that I'm your daughter!"
Claire's eyebrows rose slightly, but her face remained impassive. "Is that so?"
Martha gestured for Claudia to be silent, then produced the DNA results. Claire took the results, her eyes scanning the document with meticulous care. If she hadn't known the truth herself she would have believed what she was saying but she knew that her child had long died .Her expression remained unreadable.
After a long moment, she looked up, her gaze fixed on Claudia. "This... is quite a revelation."
"It's the truth," Claudia insisted, her voice trembling with a mixture of excitement and fear. "I'm your daughter. I belong here."
Claire turned to Martha. "And what do you propose we do with this information?"
"We want Claudia to take her rightful place in this family," Martha replied smoothly. "We want her to have the life she deserves."
Claire studied Claudia, her gaze lingering on the girl's face. She saw the ambition, the desperation, the underlying darkness. She also saw the potential for chaos.
"This is not a decision to be made lightly," Claire said finally. "This requires the attention of everyone in my family."
"We understand," Martha said. "But we believe it's the right thing to do."
"Perhaps," Claire conceded. "But first, we must speak with my husband and Cassidy. They deserve to see this new development."
A servant was summoned, and soon, the patriarch of the Jordon family, James, Ken,Nathan and Cassidy entered the room. James was a man of power and influence, his presence commanding. Cassidy, however, seemed to have an air of confidence, a quiet strength that belied her young age.
As Claire explained the situation, James's face turned red with anger. He looked at Claudia with undisguised contempt. Cassidy, on the other hand, remained calm, her eyes fixed on Claudia with a mixture of curiosity and something else... a hint of pity.
"This is quite the revelation," Charles replied with a bored expression. "
"James, please," Claire said, giving him a sign with her eyes, her voice calm but firm. "Let's hear them out."
James reluctantly subsided, and Martha launched into a carefully crafted explanation, painting a picture of a cruel twist of fate, of a stolen childhood, of a young woman yearning for her true family.
Claudia, emboldened by her mother's words, added her own pleas, her voice filled with a desperate longing. She spoke of her dreams, her ambitions, her desire to be a part of the Jordon family.
When she finished, Cassidy spoke for the first time. "I don't believe it," she said, her voice clear and steady. "I don't believe any of this."
