It supposed to be a normal day.
Nothing special. Nothing different.
But sometimes... normal days are the most dangerous ones.
I still remember it clearly. I was walking alone through the empty streets. My heels clicked softly against the pavements, the only sound in the empty alley.
I knew something was wrong when a black car stopped beside me.
My steps slowed.
The car door opened.
Before l could react-
A hand grabbed my wrist.
I tried to scream but another hand covered my mouth instantly.
Then a voice whispered in my ear --
"Stay quiet.... if you want to live."
My heart stopped.
They pushed me inside.
Doors locked.
Car speeding.
You....you got the wrong person, I said shaking.
Silence. No one replied.
Then --
A man sitting in the dark leaned forward.
Cold eyes. Deadly calm.
"No. I got exactly the person I wanted "
My chest tightened.
" Impossible.... I don't even know you," I whispered.
He didn't react. He leaned closer, just enough for me to feel his cold aura. My stomach twisted, part fear, part.. something else I didn't recognize.
The car was silent. The rain pounded against the windows.
I turned my head slightly, trying to look out the window. But the rain made everything blurry.
But one thing that I realised in that moment was that...
I wasn't just a victim. I was the target.
And when just I thought I might understand nothing--
The lights outside the car flickered, and I saw a figure waiting in the distances
someone... Or something... that made my blood run cold.
I swallowed hard.
This night...
It wasn't going to end the way I thought.
