Silas took Ice-pick to his room and began talking about their trip. Like what she should do when she gets heated and such.
No sucking of his men. And if she wanted to suck, she had to ask for his permission.
Just those simple rules, he imposed on her. Ice-pick complained about the rules but she had no choice.
Last night, she thought about her life until now. Although she tried searching for her love, her method was not good. It was the worst in human standard.
So she decided to change her mindset and go on a trip.
She sat on the bed, suggestively making her finger more appealing. Suddenly, a pillow crashed landing into her face.
"So cruel. What if it hurt my previous face? How can I find love with ugly face?" Ice-pick screamed.
Silas threw her a look and decided to play along. He sat beside her and grabbed her face softly, guiding to look into him. His eyes.
He stared into her softly. He then got closer to her and murmured.
"Then it is not love but lust. Love didn't see things. You don't even know what love is." He mocked her.
"What? How dare you?" Ice-pick said, her voice trembling.
"I dare beacuse… you have no choice but to listen to me." Silas got even more closer to her. He could feel her breath, her heart beats
"Don't try to seduce me, Ice-pick. I like it rough, you know. But if you can handle me, you can try." Silas whispered into her ears.
He noticed the goosebumps all over her.
"So what do you want?" He asked. "Stop or continue."
Silas preferred that she stopped. He was not some horndog, trying to stick his meat in every hole. He just wanted to set a boundary between him and the succubus.
"I…I.."
The door behind them opened without an announcement. Ice-pick pushed him back, causing him to fall down from the bed.
Silas looked up at the intruder. It was Roland who stood there in silence.
"It is not like that." Silas stood up.
"Yes, it is like that."
"Yeah." Ice-pick agreed.
"Don't agree. Anyway, this is my knight, Roland. And this is the succubus I talked about last night. Don't tell others about her race. She will serve as a scout. Her charm is quite good." Silas explained in a heavy voice.
"And tell Old Gin that we will leave this place in the morning. I hope he finds a merchant to tag along. It is fine if we can't tag along as well."
Silas picked up Ice-pick and threw her to the other bed. "You stay here. Don't leave my side for now."
He then went to his bed and opened the book beside the table, flipping through pages.
Both Ice-pick and Roland stood there awkwardly.
"Hi."
"Yeah."
"I am a knight. If you need something to cut, I can help you."
"No need."
"Humm… I will just leave." Roland left the room.
Silas looked up from his book and said, "You need to converse with others, Ice-pick. Otherwise you won't find love "
"You don't have to worry. I can do it. I can find it. I will find it."
Silas ignored love obsessed succubus. He knew the reason behind her obsession. So he just stared at her with pity.
"Yeah. You will find someone who will love you. I am sure. And I will find that someone."
Silas thought about the main protagonist and sighed. Right now, it was not a good idea to meet with him.

Silas wasted his time, reading, resting, napping and teasing Ice-pick. Ice-pick was surprisingly knowledgeable in adventure business.
It makes sense because she was a thief.
Knock.! Knock.!
"Who is it?" Ice-pick asked. "It won't be that knight. He just left a while ago. The butler you talk about?"
"I don't know." Silas closed the book and got up from the bed. He stretched.
The knocking didn't stop. It got quieter but it didn't stop.
"Come in." He said.
Ice-pick also stood up, reminding herself to get a good impression. Silas smiled, seeing that she took his lesson to her heart.
The doorknob turned and it opened slowly. "Amm..Can I not come in?"
"Then, why did you knock?"
"Yeah. Yeah." Ice-pick voiced.
Having heard a female voice, the visitor gathered courage and entered. It was Luna, the young bartender from the inn. She ditched her inn uniform and dressed in mage robe.
She also wore a huge hat, towering over her head. She looked silly.
As she entered, her tall hat stuck with the door and fell down. She caught the hat but her feet dragged with her robe and fell down to the floor.
What a clumsy mage.
Silas was starting to regret recruiting her. But her mana concealment skill was top notch. As an unrealized fourth circle mage, he should be able to detect someone from the second circle but he couldn't even feel her as a mage.
She would be a trump card if he used it well. If she can fix her clumsiness. Luna picked up her head and stood there.
Silas stared at her and she flinched. "Aren't you gonna say something?"
"Ah…ah.. I am here to accept your proposal. But I would like to make some money. Not so much, of course, I know you are going to teach me. But… but I want money." Luna said, her head hung low. As if she was ashamed of her words.
"But of course, you can count me in magecraft. I will follow your order."
Silas didn't think any of her words. After all, he also loved money.
"How much?"
"Yes?"
"How much do you want? We are heading to Palm Mountain but I am certain that we will take a detour. The journey will last about two years. And in two years, I will make you a fourth circle mage and give you a path to the fifth circle."
Luna nodded furiously. She then lifted three fingers.
"Three gold coins?" Silas asked. He couldn't believe this young mage would ask for him this much. One gold coin is about one month's salary for a regular civilian.
"300 coppers." Luna whispered.
"Hmm. I can handle that. Okay deal." Silas said. "But since you added a salary, I wanted to add something as well."
Luna flinched like a scared cat. Her body was trembling.
"I can't give you my body."
"Huh?" Silas was dumbfounded. Does he look like a villain? A pervert?
'I guess the rumor got into her head?' He sighed.
"I don't want that." Silas said. "Just don't report everything to your organization. If I said don't speak, you will omit the information from them. Got it?"
Luna swallowed her saliva. "I will try."
"What do you mean you will try? Forget it. I will pay you money and teach you. Just don't neglect your duty." Silas waved his hand. "Meet up with me in the morning. I will tell you about your duty on the way."
"Yes." Luna said and quickly left the room, not even bothering to close the door.
Silas sighed seeing the young mage.
"You are surprisingly naive?" Ice-pick said.
"I don't want to hear from you." Silas said, standing up. "I am going to take a shower."
"And?"
Silas smirked. "Wanna join?"
"Heck no."
"I thought succubus were horny."
"I am not like other succubus. I am a different kind." Ice-pick said in a whisper.
Silas entered and washed himself.
And he arrived at the first floor with Ice-pick. They both ordered a meal. For some reason, Ice-pick didn't drink alcohol.
"I don't like it that much." She said, "It is bitter."
"Then why did you drink it yesterday?"
"Hmm.ahh… I can't tell." She lowered her face, saying in a soft tone.
Silas didn't find Luna in the bartender, she must be preparing for the journey. He also noticed a few of his men, eating a meal. They bowed to him and Silas dismissed them.
'My carriage has three vacant seats so I don't have to worry about these people. But since we are leaving the town and going on a road, we need to prepare for a sudden attack.' Silas thought.
Likely, his mother foresaw this but didn't plan it. So she was testing him or something.
'I need to buy a few houses.' Silas took out a piece of paper and a pen. Then he began to draw the position of his people.
He didn't like to overwork but he took the responsibility of these men and women. He had to make sure they survived. After all, their survival meant his survival.
But that was a lie, Silas told himself.
After drawing the position, Silas carefully folded the paper and put it into his pocket. He then felt a rush in his heart, clenching his chest, he groaned.
The rampage of energy inside his heart was getting worse.
'Look like I need to swing my sword.' He sighed.
In his heart, there were second rings or circles. Each circle represented a state of power or control, boosting physical power.
And as he was fourth circle mage, his mana core had four rings, circling around, creating mana for him to use.
