Chris still wondered what stage he had reached back there to enable them defeat the beast.
He couldn't mourn though.
He was still alive and so were other two of his crew mates.
He had never known that he would ever reach such a stage in his hunt for the celestial of order.
He still couldn't process it...the monument of energy used in defeating that beast completely out of his control.
Still, the loss of Boris was still a major down fall to them.
Derek and Fidget could hardly even withstand the loss.
The usually groaned daily.
Still, they moved on.
They got closer to the top of Beckoning Hills that hadn't been reached in over a hundred years. These three men were about to be part of history.
Chris let off a faint smirk as he walked on.
All the days of waiting and finally, they stood only a few feet from their goal.
Chris would likely enhance his celestial appearance and therefore, get a better chance at defeating Rezel.
Ofcourse, that is what this whole wild goose chase was about.
Chris still felt glad having met these men and them actually been able to accompany him to his aim.
The large beast still didn't stand a chance on taking them all down.
He still hoped that the happenings of lightning district were still under control knowing that a mutant human sat in chains in the emperor's palace.
He would never tolerate a breakout at a place he had lived in all his life.
Chris looked back down at his patch.
"I'm almost home" he whispered with a hiss.
Finally night came and Chris, Fidget and Derek seek shelter under a large tree branch covered with leaves.
The tree was massive with an excessive amount of bark.
The soft outer covering also made it more comfortable for the rest their backs onto it.
"Only two days left", Chris sighed again as he rested under the shade to get some rest.
The next day flew like wildfire.
From dawn till noon in an instant.
The three men still marched on.
They had gone this far, it was too late to back down now.
None of them were still truly certain of the intentions of each other as they strolled along.
The more they walked, the more certain it became for Derek and Fidget.
It took about two hours of constant strolls before they finally reached the guardian's sanctuary.
The place where the guardian habited.
It was proclaimed as the most dangerous place in the world.
A four foot long beast that greeted you at every step, immune to bullets and explosions....the dark and thick layers of wall that surrounded the entire sanctuary.
It felt like a nightmare.
It had been made known that anyone who had made it this far into the Beckoning Hills would have a low estimate of ever escaping the guardian's sanctuary.
There were hundreds of them scattered around the hills each with their own separate celestial order.
The men stood at the edge of the place watching the thin black beast sharpen it's edges.
"That is one strange creature", Derek mentioned trying to stay calm.
It had a thin body but each end wasn't filled with fingers or toes.....but instead, sharp edges.
Pin-pointed cutting edges.
Possibly sharpened each day by the beast.
Its eyes had a shade of red and black.
Its aura inexplicable.
Each vein clearly visible by the naked eye.
The creature just sat on a large rock.
Doing absolutely nothing.
One thing caught the attention of Chris.
"There it is.....the celestial order", he noticed with a grin.
Laid behind the beast.
Glowing with all it's glory.
"What is that thing anyway?", Fidget queried facing the direction of Chris.
Each tried to keep a low voice in order to be undetected by the guardian.
Chris didn't hesitate before answering.
"That's the celestial order.
I need it inorder to enhance my powers", he stammered with a sigh of relief.
"So you want us to go in there and risk our lives just for your benefit and gain", Derek rampaged after hearing what Chris had to say.
He looked furious....beginning to feel played by Chris.
Chris couldn't utter a word, he didn't have the guts.
He could have explained to Derek how he never expected to do this when he first came hunting for the celestial order.
The reactions established by Fidget proved his assumptions real.
Derel wasn't been played by him like a puppet, but instead, helped to forge his destiny into saving his people from being ruled by Rezel.
He knew he needed all the help he could get when he first entered Beckoning Hills because scaling the hills alone was more of a suicidal mission.
Seeing them.....it made Chris smirk.
Fellow humans, with the mindset of helping each other.
"Well Derek", Chris began trying to make Derek understand the real situation at hand.
"We were never playing each other.....but instead, helping each other to achieve our goals.
Remember when we first met and hoped that we would have each other's backs.
Well, that is what we did.
I can't force you to do what you don't want to, like helping me get the celestial appearance....but just thank you for helping me and your friends throughout the journey to reach this point", Chris demonstrated beautifully and extended his hand for a shake, tears almost falling down his warn cheeks.
Derek expressed his gratitude by shaking the hand of Chris.
"Well I guess I understand that, but I can't risk myself again fighting this beast", Derek mentioned to Chris with a frown.
His body was so unstable and any impact on it could lead to his death.
Chris understood this and let the two sit it out.
He stepped closer to the guardian sanctuary trying to keep his guard and not alert the guardian.
He groaned.
"Its just me against him.
No help this time".
Even he wasn't certain which kind of celestial order laid behind the beast.
There were hundreds scattered around the hill....so anyone he found would be a case of luck.
Each guardian has the same appearance but had different unique abilities gotten from the celestial appearance they guarded.
Nothing too special.
Possibly could be handled by Chris.
He still couldn't think of a beast that could outshine the large godzilla-like creature they witnessed two days ago.
The small nature of the guardian was not frightening, but the sharp edges were absolutely horrific.
The light shade of red gave it that deadly feel.
Chris breath a sigh of relief.
"Let's do this", and with that, walked into the guardian sanctuary demarcated by a wall and a blue frame that looked rather worn down.
Entering the guardian sanctuary, Chris couldn't help to notice the different scratch marks that went all around the little room.
On the walls.....floor and even the ceiling.
He kept moving looking around the room.
He held his sword firmly in hand.
He saw different marks of counting days and writing or drawing strange symbols on the wall.
"This guardian is deep and very strange", Chris soliloquized.
"So....you came alone", another voice greeted him as he walked along.
Chris turned directions witnessing the stance of the guardian.
It stood up with all it's glory, the sharp edges glimmering off the afternoon sun.
The celestial appearance just laid at the rear of the room.
Chris' eyes widened.
"Wait...you can talk?!".
