Teiko called a timeout.
After learning the details, Momoi Satsuki quickly brought an ice pack and applied it to his skin.
"Honestly, knowing the side effects of this move, why did you use it?"
Ryu just smiled slightly. "That Hanamiya Makoto was clearly trying to sabotage me, so of course I had to retaliate. I wouldn't use those underhanded methods, so I could only let him go openly. Don't worry, it's just that my body is exhausted. I'll be fine after a few days of rest."
Ryu hadn't expected that using it just once would leave him feeling completely drained.
Momoi Satsuki said seriously, "That's still not okay. In short, you absolutely cannot use it again until your body can handle it."
"Okay, I know!" Ryu grinned at Satsuki.
Then he turned to look at Shirogane Kozo. "Coach, as you can see, it's time for the seniors to go up next!"

And so, Ryu sat down next to Momoi Satsuki, quietly watching the match.
The match went very smoothly.
Teiko, like a wild horse unleashed, completely dominated Meisei from start to finish.
Akashi and the others displayed their skills on the court, and their opponents were utterly helpless.
By the fourth quarter, Meisei had already given up on the match, unable to continue.
In the end, Teiko defeated Meisei 127-17, a full 110 points.
As they lined up, Ryu clearly felt Hanamiya Makoto's murderous gaze. 'Looks like this guy's up to no good!'
At dusk, the streetlights flickered, guiding the way through the dimly lit road.
A figure walked past the rows of streetlights, casting a long shadow.
Beside the figure was a cat with soft, smooth fur, entirely white except for its face, tail, and limbs, which were brown and black.
This person and cat were Ryu and Karupin.
After the team returned to school, everyone said goodbye and went home.
This was Ryu's daily route home.
Just as he reached a relatively secluded street, three people suddenly appeared and blocked his way.
Ryu looked intently, and then he saw a familiar figure.
"Hanamiya Makoto." Ryu uttered the man's name, a cold smile playing on his lips. "As expected, you still came."
Karupin stood rooted to the spot, its sapphire-blue vertical pupils filled with disdain and contempt as it looked at the three before it.
On the way, it had heard Ryu say that someone might cause him trouble, and Ryu had been right.
However, it remained completely unfazed, leisurely walking to the side to watch the show.
"Oh, you knew I would come?" Hanamiya Makoto asked, somewhat surprised. This was a last-minute decision. After the competition, he had gathered two of his cronies to lie in wait here.
Ryu scoffed. "It would be strange if human trash like you didn't show up here!"
Hearing Ryu's merciless insult, Hanamiya Makoto's eyes turned icy, his teeth clenched, and he roared in fury. "It's all because of you that my plans were ruined. It's all because of you! Aren't you good at basketball? Aren't you called a genius? Genius, hah! I'm going to destroy everything you have, so you can never play basketball again. I'm going to turn you into a crawling bug."
He took a deep breath.
The expression on Hanamiya Makoto's face, which had been roaring angrily just moments before, changed, revealing a near-manic, ferocious smile. "Go get him! Cripple his hands and feet!"
With that, Hanamiya Makoto and the two men beside him each pulled a stick from their backpacks and walked towards Ryu.
Looking at the ferocious smiles on the faces of the three men, Ryu's gaze gradually turned chilling.
This Hanamiya Makoto really doesn't know what's good for him.
Ryu felt that the other party was mentally ill, and it would be an injustice not to teach him a lesson.
Ryu put his backpack on the ground to the side, then took off his jacket and threw it aside. "Since you're looking for a beating, I'll teach you a lesson today."
As Ryu finished speaking, his figure shot towards Hanamiya and the other two like a gust of wind.
On the quiet, deserted street, under the dim streetlights, three piercing screams tore through the sky.
A series of muffled thuds could be faintly heard.
This strange sound continued for an unknown amount of time.
When Ryu leisurely left, only three unfortunate souls remained lying on the ground, covered in blood, unrecognizable as human, groaning incessantly.
