Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 Flames of Revenge

The Cyclon Arc had begun.

The sea stretched endlessly under a grey sky, its surface calm—but Zak was not.

Standing alone on a small wooden boat, Zak moved forward in silence. The wind pushed against him, his clothes fluttering, his hair messy—but his eyes… his eyes were different.

There was fire in them.

Not normal anger.

This was something heavier.

Something darker.

Revenge.

Cyclon Mountain stood far ahead, barely visible through the mist. That was his destination. That was where everything would change.

But before he could reach it—

Something appeared.

A ship.

Zak's eyes narrowed.

He recognized it instantly.

The Devil's ship.

For a moment, everything inside him stopped.

Then—

It exploded into rage.

His fists tightened. His breathing became heavy. His heart started pounding like a war drum.

"Iaaz…"

That name alone was enough.

Memories rushed into his mind like a storm.

The Forbidden Beast Island.

The chaos.

The pain.

The moment he used his teleportation laser… and lost everything.

His jaw clenched.

"This is because of you…"

The two ships slowly moved closer, cutting through the water like predators approaching each other.

No words were needed.

No warnings.

This was inevitable.

Iaaz stood on his ship, calm as ever, a faint smile on his face. His presence was cold, almost mocking.

Zak stood opposite him.

Burning.

For the first time… we see Zak not as a boy—

But as someone ready to destroy.

In the next second—

Both of them jumped.

The air cracked as their powers activated.

Iaaz moved first. His attack was sharp, fast, and overwhelming.

But Zak didn't step back.

"Laser Punch!"

With his Inner energy flowing through his arm, Zak struck forward.

The clash shook the air.

A powerful shockwave spread across the sea.

Iaaz was thrown back violently, crashing onto his ship. Wood cracked under the force.

Zak landed, his chest rising and falling.

But he didn't feel relief.

Only anger.

Only heat.

His mind showed him another memory—

Iaaz… attacking Querry.

Trying to kill him.

Something inside Zak snapped.

"I won't forgive you."

His body moved again.

This time, something was different.

Zak closed his eyes for a second—

And then he felt it.

A presence.

Iaaz's presence.

Even without looking, Zak could sense where he was.

His Sense Inner had awakened.

Level 1… but enough.

Iaaz stood up again, wiping blood from his lips. His smile faded slightly.

"So… you've grown."

His voice turned darker.

"But you're still far below me."

His aura changed instantly.

Heavy.

Dangerous.

"Let me remind you… why I'm called the Devil."

In a flash, Iaaz disappeared.

But Zak didn't panic.

He felt him.

Left side.

Without thinking, Zak moved.

Iaaz's attack missed.

For the first time—

Iaaz looked surprised.

Zak turned, his hand glowing again.

"Beast Laser Punch!"

This time, the attack was stronger. Sharper. More focused.

The impact destroyed the front of Iaaz's ship completely. Wood and metal exploded into the air.

The sea trembled.

But Iaaz… still stood.

His expression was no longer calm.

Now… he was serious.

"Enough."

His body began to change.

Sharp blade-like edges formed across his arms and legs.

"Body Blade Style."

Before Zak could react—

Iaaz attacked.

Fast.

Too fast.

Zak tried to move—but he was too late.

The strike hit him directly.

His body flew backward, crashing hard onto his ship.

"Ugh—!"

Blood came out of his mouth.

Pain spread across his entire body.

For a moment… everything went silent.

But inside—

The fire was still there.

Zak's fingers moved.

Slowly… painfully… he pushed himself up.

"I'm not done…"

Iaaz watched him, slightly shocked.

"You're strong… but you've lost your mind."

Again, Iaaz attacked.

And again.

And again.

Each strike cut deeper.

Each hit pushed Zak closer to his limit.

Zak's vision blurred.

His breathing broke.

His body screamed in pain.

Before… I couldn't even touch him…

Now I can feel him…

But why can't I keep up…?

His thoughts were breaking—

And then—

Iaaz used his strongest move.

A full-power Body Blade strike.

The attack landed.

Zak was sent flying far away, crashing onto the broken remains of his boat.

He didn't move.

Blood covered him.

There was no place left untouched.

Iaaz stood still, breathing slowly.

"It's over."

For him, the fight had ended.

But for Zak—

This was the moment that mattered most.

He couldn't move.

His body was gone.

But his mind…

Get up.

A faint voice.

Get up.

His memories appeared—

Querry.

His friends.

Everything he had lost.

You can't lose again.

His fingers twitched.

Pain shot through him.

But this time—

He didn't stop.

Slowly… he stood up.

Not because his body allowed it—

But because his will forced it.

"I…"

His voice shook.

But then it grew louder.

"I WILL NEVER LOSE AGAIN!"

A sudden burst of energy exploded from him.

A dark aura surrounded his body, wild and dangerous.

The air itself felt heavy.

Iaaz's eyes widened.

"Impossible… you—"

But Zak didn't wait.

He moved.

Faster than before.

Stronger than before.

Iaaz tried to defend—but his body had already reached its limit. His ring couldn't handle more power.

Zak's fist hit him.

Iaaz staggered.

Blood spilled.

For the first time—

The Devil was losing.

Zak raised his hand slowly.

His fingers pointed forward.

His eyes were cold.

Focused.

"Finger Laser… with Inner."

A thin beam of deadly energy shot forward.

Clean.

Precise.

It pierced straight through Iaaz's chest.

Time stopped.

Iaaz's body froze.

Then—

He fell.

The Devil… was defeated.

The soldiers around them raised their guns at Zak.

But none of them fired.

They couldn't.

Zak stood there, surrounded by that dark aura.

It didn't feel human.

It felt… monstrous.

Like something they shouldn't fight.

One by one… their hands lowered.

Fear had won.

Zak didn't even look at them.

He simply walked forward.

Toward Cyclon Mountain.

The news spread across the world.

"Devil Iaaz… defeated."

"By Zak Zee Zed."

The government was shaken.

Iaaz had never lost before.

Never.

And now… he was gone.

A new bounty was announced.

50 Million.

Far away, Wox held the poster in his hand.

He smiled.

"Good…"

"Very good."

He laughed softly.

"This is what a real warrior looks like."

At that moment, a government ship arrived to capture him.

The commander shouted orders.

Weapons ready.

Wox looked at them calmly.

"My mood is good today."

"So leave."

But they attacked.

Wox didn't move.

He didn't need to.

His Sense Inner activated.

And in the next second—

The entire ship was destroyed.

The sea rose violently. Waves crashed. The sky darkened.

The commander was thrown far away, barely alive.

Wox turned away.

"Tell them…"

His voice was cold.

"Wox Zee Zett is coming."

He paused.

"And this won't be a normal war."

"This will be a world war."

The commander's body froze in fear.

Meanwhile…

Zak stepped onto the land of Cyclon Mountain.

His body was broken.

His clothes torn.

But his eyes—

Still burning.

This was only the beginning.
