The next morning.
"Another job?" Albert said getting dressed.
"Yes." Herod said. "We got word that supposedly that person you fought when you infiltrated the Yakuza base is there."
"Oh, the girl who said she was Oda Nobunaga? She will be there?"
"That's right. I suggest you go all out to kill her or if possible Chisaki, the leader of the Shie Hassaikai if he is there."
"No problem. I'll get it done. So have you given it thought on what to do when my Work-Studies begin?"
"We have, until it's over you won't be doing any jobs. We are currently moving things along so for now do as you wish, just stay discreet of course."
"Hm. I'll call you when it's done, preferably after school."
"Aight. Click!"
Herod ends the call and Albert crushes the burner into fine powder and flushes it down the toilet. Before leaving the bathroom Albert looks at himself in the mirror and sees himself with the charm Asui gave him.
"… Hm!" He smiles and nods.
He gets fully dressed and heads to school.
School ends like usual and Albert dropped his school stuff first and changed into his casual attire.
"Where are you going? Ribbit." Asui asked noticing him leaving.
"Stuff, I'm going back home to check on the house."
Albert quickly left. Asui watched as he left and held out the tracker.
"… Ribbit."
She soon followed after him taking precaution to not be found.
Arriving back home Albert calls out.
"Oy!! Kischur!!" Albert shouts out. "Mélusine!!"
"In here!!" Mélusine shouted from the back of the house.
Albert went over and entered the room to see Kischur, Mélusine and a pure black briefcases of what held his gear.
"Uh… what's going on?"
"I went and gave you some tools that your owners don't know about." Kischur said. "These are Mystic Codes, think of them as magic weapons you see in RPGs."
"Never really played any RPGs but sure, I get you."
"Hmm!" Kischur stretches his back. "Have to say those people in America sure know how to make a weapon, took me a while to wrap my head around how elegantly overkill these weapons they made for you are. As for Micheal well I have something better."
"You really didn't have to do this." Albert walks over and opens one of the black briefcase which held a red and blue plain versions of Lilith and Eve. "No engravings?" Albert picked them up and they felt as good as the originals.
"You can do that yourself along with their names. The engravings will appear to match their names."
"Hm…" Albert looked at the pair and thought of a name. "[Achilles] and [Patroclus]."
The blue and red guns received engravings, Achilles, the red gun was engraved with a valiant warrior with his spear along the barrel. Patroclus was of a warrior reaching out with his arm alongside the barrel.
"Those two huh? Guess they are a pair, hm. Anyway. They run on the same type of bullets as your other two guns and an alternative."
"Alternative? What is it?"
"Your mana. You can shoot mana bullets, ONLY!" He shouted. "When the magazine is empty, bit of a surprise to the foes you will be up against."
"Thank you!" Albert smiled and nodded.
"In other matters such as your sword, here." Kischur reached behind his back and holds out a sizable wooden, metal box with engravings and seals of so many cultures it amazed both Albert and Mélusine that such a box could have that much.
"What is it?" Albert received it. He gently puts it down on the ground and opens it to see a weird black and red handle, it also shows signs of age as some of its color has dulled a bit. "No actually what is this?" He looked back to Kischur.
"It is a Divine Construct, or what remains of one."
"WHAT!?" Mélusine shouted. "You had a Divine Construct! Albert this is a divine weapon! Like fucking Zeus' thunderbolts! Thor's hammer! Weapons of gods! Actual gods!"
"Eh, it lost its potency ages ago. Along with the emergence of Quirks, Divine Constructs also lost their strength. For this one I think it was around the time the first nuclear bomb was set off."
"So how strong is it?" Albert held it carefully and waved it around a bit.
"Careful with it!" Mélusine was getting really antsy from Albert waving around like it was some children's toy.
"Think of it as a magic equivalent of Michael but far more suited for you." Kischur said. "As for its activation it will run on your mana. Given who you are that won't be an issue."
"Hm." Albert holds it up straight and injects some of his mana into the handle.
Kpisssssh!
"… Holy fuck it's a light saber." Albert has not seen Star Wars, he just knows what it is from the scientist who made the rest of his gear, if not for the battery issue Albert would have been wielding a genuine lightsaber from the movies.
The weapon itself shot out a purple beam, with Albert's mana it began to repair itself. It's red and black color gained their vibrancy along with the purple beam.
"That's new. It's light was a red, blue, and green, like a Triple Push Pop."
"What's a Triple Push Pop?" Albert asked.
"Don't worry about it." Kischur then walked out if the room. "Take them as my graduation gift."
"What?" Albert turned to follow Kischur. "What do you mean graduation gift? I thought you were gonna teach me more magecraft?"
"You know the basics as I said before." He goes and sits on his reclining chair. "You don't need to know anymore. You can handle anything thrown at you and if you can't Mélusine can. I will be gone by the next sun set. I'll see you a couple of more times, I will be with someone special on one of the occasions."
"And who is that?" Mélusine asked.
"Some one who just appears, they are a very important person."
Mélusine stared intensely at him, he was not gonna give her the answer.
"…" Albert looks at him and makes a stiff expression. "I… you…" his eyes narrow a bit. "despite how little time you trained me you have been the best teacher I ever had, genuinely."
"Hey! I thought you how to use Mana Burst pretty well!" Mélusine interject, still wary of the Divine Construct in Albert's hand.
"Heh. And you have been the best student I had." His lips curled into a smile. "By the way the name of that Divine Construct is called [Photon Ray] the Sword of the War God but seeing how it is now you should give it a new name."
"Then I shall name it [Kischur]." He stops injecting mana into it and it's beam vanished.
"Nice name."
"I will be off. I have a Grail War to win."
Albert goes back to the room and puts on his gear.
"You really leaving old man?" Mélusine said floating before him.
"I am, I should tell you now that drinking soy sauce raw like what you do makes me gag."
"You do not know the true taste of and greatness of soy sauce! Begone!!" She shouted floating over to Albert.
"Wait a second." Kischur stopped her.
"What?" Mélusine turned to face him.
"Here." He tossed her a ring. "I made it into a ring because I figured it would be the hardest to fall off you."
Mélusine looks and thoroughly examines it.
"What is it? Another Mystic Code?"
"Yes, it will hide your Servant presence like Assassin so long as you do not use any form of Mana Burst."
"I will keep that in mind." She pockets it. "But this world's mystery is so low why even hide ones presence?"
"Can't be to safe, now can you?"
"Hmph." She nods and floats away. "Thanks."
Watching Mélusine leave Kischur stroked his beard and grinned.
'Hm. The surprise I left for him will certainly bring a smile to him.'
When Mélusine got to Albert she saw something around his neck as he was changing.
"What's that string around your neck?" She asked.
"Oh this?" Albert turned half naked. "It's a charm Asui gave me. Yesterday and today have been my luckiest days." He returning to putting on his new suit. "Hm?"
The suit began to change and even integrate more with Wolfgang's body becoming purple with snake scales.
"That's new, guess Kischur modified it as well." Mélusine said.
"Hm, pretty cool feature but kinda weird looking. It needs more clothing to make it work."
With some time Albert changed it back to normal and once done Mélusine picked him up and left.
