In the hospital room, dawn slowly arrived. Warm sunlight spread across the room, pushing away the darkness little by little.
Alice suddenly smiled brightly.
"Yeah… I love you so badly."
She was talking on the phone with someone.
Sana heard her happy voice and felt a strange curiosity.
[Who is she talking to? She looks so happy… is this the Alice I know? She's changing so fast… I don't even recognise her anymore. Will my love fade if she changes like this?]
His expression turned slightly sad.
Alice ended the call and walked back to him with a cheerful face.
Sana looked at her."Why do you look so happy?"
Alice smiled."I was just talking to my father. I decided to forgive him."
For a moment, light returned to Sana's face. He couldn't believe what he just heard.
Alice tried to control her emotions and continued."I already told him about us. He accepted it, so there won't be any problem if we pretend to be dating."
Her cheeks turned slightly red.
Sana smiled and nodded."That's great. You've really changed… it makes me feel like you're a different person."
Her expression flickered with a small trace of fear."I'm still Alice… you know… my hero."
Sana: "Yeah. I think my wounds will heal quickly."
Alice: "When you recover, I have a lot of things I want to do with you… like a girlfriend would. But don't misunderstand. I'm just pretending, okay?"
Her face was slightly red again.
Sana: "What do you want to do with me the most, Alice?"
She looked away, flustered."Maybe… kiss…"
Then she quickly shook her head."I'm just kidding. Just being with you is enough."
Sana smirked a little."Yeah? How can I refuse my girlfriend's request? Do you really want to kiss me?"
Alice froze."…"
She quickly hid her face, struggling to control herself.
Sana leaned slightly closer.

Alice's hand grabbed his face.
Her eyes changed.
