/POP Zuta/
After Alice went on her way, Zuta took a deep breath. Her whole body collapsed onto the ground.
"This is too much for me now…"
Her face looked dark and scared.
Then she slowly walked back into her home. The weird part was that she also lived alone.
Inside her house looked like a detective's room.
Her hand trembled as she looked at the wooden board where a timeline about Alice was displayed.
She talked to herself:
"This is the time I won't let you destroy everything."
Her face looked determined.
This was the reason she moved here… to get closer to Alice, to make it easier to watch her from afar.
But today was different.
Her face looked confused as she remembered her conversation with Alice.
"She is different from the Alice I know… but more dangerous in some way? Her love? This is weird. I've never heard Alice can fall in love. She is supposed to be emotionless and evil."
Zuta spoke again.
"I want to know who that person is… the one who can change her. He even saved me too. This doesn't seem right in this timeline."
"What makes that person so special?"
[If I get his help, maybe I can change the tragic fate… but if not, I'll just end her life… and even him too. But killing Alice is not easy. That girl is not a normal human from her appearance. There are still many mysteries I don't even understand. But I know how powerful and dangerous she is…]
Zuta used her hand to point at a timeline on the wooden board. That timeline showed Alice in high school.
In that timeline, Alice was depressed, disconnected, and eventually fell into a hidden criminal organisation.
That group aimed to destroy this cursed world and create a better one. That group appeared when Alice was nearly finishing high school.
"This means I still have time to change it… to stop her from falling into darkness, to stop her from meeting that organisation again."
Zuta smiled.
"Maybe I can change that tragic fate."
Then Zuta pointed at another timeline where everything turned into chaos and a sea of blood covered the world, like an apocalypse.
Zuta's body shivered as she remembered her last conversation with that monster.
Zuta (past): "Why are you destroying everything, Alliter?"
Why Zuta was in the anti-Alliter organisation—Alliter had destroyed everything the organization built in that apocalyptic world.
Zuta was the last survivor of the organisation when Alliter found her.
Alliter was Alice's new name given by the organisation.
As Zuta lay defeated on the ground, Alliter stood above her.
Alliter had a cold voice, an emotionless face, red eyes, and black hair. She wore a black uniform with complex details, making her look extremely striking even with a neutral expression. Behind her was a large black scythe.
She slowly approached Zuta and raised her scythe to end her life.
"Because I don't feel any love in this world."
