While Sana was in deep sleep, something suddenly woke him up. He slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurry. He heard someone crying very close to him.
[Did I die?]
But suddenly, he felt a warm sensation covering his whole body. Something soft was touching him. His vision slowly became clear.
He didn't know what was happening… but he liked this warmth that was easing the pain he felt.
Alice was hugging him very tightly, hiding her face on his shoulder.
Sana realised it and his heart started beating very fast, his face turning red.
He slowly stroked her back to make her feel better.
They didn't say a single word—just stayed in a hug for hours while Alice cried on his shoulder.
Sana relaxed his mind, trying to make her more comfortable, gently stroking her hair.
Alice felt weak in his arms, but she liked it.
After some time had passed, she slowly realised what she was doing. Her face turned red, and she slowly tried to pull away from the hug.
But before she could, someone rushed into the room and opened the door loudly.
"Alice, where are you?"
When the man saw the scene—two people hugging each other—his face froze in shock. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Leto lived a very normal life. He met Alice's mother online, and despite being poor, he tried his best to build a happy family. He never gave up. And they had a cute daughter.
His daughter was very cute, a shy girl who always clung to him. And her mother too. He once thought this was the life he had always dreamed of.
But then tragedy came for his wife. He lost her… because he didn't have enough money to pay for the hospital bills. From that moment, he began to hate himself deeply. He felt guilty for losing his wife because of money… and also guilty toward his daughter.
Since that day, he became afraid to face his daughter. He escaped reality by going to work every day, and slowly, his heart broke like stone.
His daughter knew about it, but never asked why he acted like that. Because he always looked so depressed.
He tried to forget all pain and suffering through work… work every day… but he forgot something important he had left in this world.
By chance, he met a boy named Zure, who lived near their home. He could feel that this boy loved his daughter at such a young age. So he decided to talk to him.
Zure looked nervous. "Greetings, Father of Alice…"
Leto smiled. "Just call me uncle. Are you my daughter's friend?"
Zure: "Yes, uncle."
Leto smiled.[This boy is so cute… maybe I can trust him.]"Can you protect my daughter?"
The boy looked confused.
Leto: "I mean… can you take care of my daughter? I'm very busy and don't have time with her. Can you spend time with her and be her friend?"
The little boy didn't fully understand, but he really liked Alice.
"Yes, uncle! I promise I'll protect her. She is my precious friend."
Leto smiled. "You're a good boy. I hope so."
But he never thought that this decision would push his daughter further away than he ever imagined… making her suffer more and eventually hate him when she finds out the truth.
