He stared at her face for a while with a soft smile she really looked peaceful when she was asleep.
He kissed her on the forehead lovingly.
Making her flutter her eyes lashes open.
She gave him a small smile as her face turned red immediately remembering the position they were in.
"I wanna tell you something." He said to her .
He was ready to say everything.
Because he knew that whatever he was starting he needed to make sure the was really strong to be by his side.
He was literally starting a war against the world, against his parents and he needed to make sure she was strong and ready to stand by his side.
"Do you remember 19th September 2022." He asked as he stared at her intently.
Does she remember that day.
That day when he finally had the courage to actually confess to her back then.
But she threw the flowers he gave her straight into the bin.
She frowned when she heard the date, of course she doesn't remember it..
" The day when MELODY HIGH won the first international basketball of the year awards." He added as he could feel her confusion.
She was still trying to remember.
" I was the guy that confessed that day."and that was when it actually hit her.
Mr Xu Kai was the guy that confessed his love to her that day.
But then slowly her Expressions changed as she stared at him with fear in her eyes.
She remembered exactly what happened.
She had received an anonymous call that day telling her to reject any guy that would ask her out or else her father would die.
Her father's life was used as a threat.
She remembered the voice that spoke to her on the phone it was a deep voice almost like a voice of an old man who still had a lot of strength and energy.
She went dead silent.
And that same day her father still died even after she rejected the guy.
" I confessed to you....you don't seem to remember much about me right." He asked again while touching her hair gently.
She was afraid, the only person she had left was her mom and now she was back to the same situation.
"Let's go shoot the next scene of the movie........ After all your career depends on it."
To him he was willing to do anything for her.
He was really ready to give her everything he had.
Cheng Xiao on the other hand was still silent unable to say a word.
She managed to seat up only to see that she was covered with his shirt.
He smiled at her, then silently walked out.
The tears, the slowly fell from her eyes .

It had been revealed that the youngest director was married but then cheated on his wife with a rookie actress.
