"You are kidding, right? How can they do that? Those two must be crazy if they think they own Henry." Eric asked, with obvious anger in his voice. Clara had gone to meet the boys in the NSMQ room and reported the incident in Ellen's dorm to them. Henry just sat silently by his laptop studying for their upcoming end-of-semester exam but was listening to them. He raised an eyebrow at Eric's comment and smiled. "Henry, are you listening to me? I can't believe you are even studying. You barely study, and this is the end of the semester, not WASSCE." Clara complained, and Henry sighed, raising his head lazily at her. "I heard you, Clara. What do you want me to do about it? You said I should leave the girls alone so now what?" Henry said lazily. "Yeah, I know I said that, but this is Ellen we are talking about. Do you really need my permission to be her knight in shining armor? I thought you gave a huge warning for everyone to stay away from hurting Ellen or else…" Clara said with a mischievous grin. Clara might be the saint among the trio, but she can also be as bad as they. Henry smirked and stood, with that being said. "Uh, where are you going?" Eric asked with a confused expression. "I'm going to get even. Nobody is allowed to mess with Eleanora but me." Henry replied with a menacing voice and loathing eyes. They smiled with satisfaction, knowing full well that the lion was out to get his prey. Henry sent a junior to go and call Esther and Amanda while he and his friends proceeded to the science block. "Henry, what's the plan?" Eric asked with impatience. "Do you know what I hate about you? You ask too many questions. Just relax and enjoy the show." Henry replied and stood as he saw the girls approaching with excitement. He smirked at how foolish they were to still be excited about him calling them, after everything. "Is that a smile I see on their faces? Geez, Clara, what goes on in the mind of you girls? I can't believe they are happy about this. Bro, I think they are expecting an apology or a comeback plea, better yet, a kiss for each of them. Hahaha, silly girls." Eric commented just as the girls reached. "Good eve…" "Hey there, pretty ladies." Henry interrupted their greetings and stood behind them. The girls intend to blush at his compliment but fail to see the disgust in his eyes. "Um, Henry, I'm so sorry for how I treated you yesterday. I was just annoyed with you carrying her. That girl needs to stay in her league and needs to be shown her place." Esther apologized with a sweet smile on her face. "You are the best; do you know that? To tell the truth, I am bored stiff with how she keeps pushing herself on me. I only carried her because she slipped and broke her leg on my watch, so I had a responsibility to fulfil. You, my dear, have no idea how glad I am that you taught her a lesson. I just wish someone had pushed her off and not just an accident, I would have rewarded that person." Henry said with a proud look towards Esther as if she had achieved something useful. "Well, you are in luck because someone did push Ellen, and you are looking right at her." Amanda said with pride, jealous Henry was giving Esther more attention while she was the one who did much work concerning Ellen's doom. Eric and Clara roared with laughter as the prey had walked right into the lion's den. Henry had a murderous look in his eyes as he smirked. "I've always known you were naïve and impulsive, but I didn't think stupid and foolish was part of the list." Henry spoke cynically and Amanda gulped. Esther just stared at him in confusion. "What's going on?" Amanda asked, feeling scared. "Let me ask you two something, do you not hear me clearly when I speak? Or is it that you both have hearing impairment?" Henry asked with a serious look and raised eyebrows. "Henry, are you angry at us or something? Esther asked. "Oh no, don't worry, I'm furious at you both for not paying heed to my warning. That's all." Henry replied with a nonchalant attitude. "What warning?" They both asked in unison. "Oh, you know, the one involving Eleanora and her being free of pests like you two." Henry said with a smile and his hands behind him. Esther and her friend realized they were in deep waters now. "Uh, Henry, please don't do this. Whatever it is you are thinking, stop thinking it. Please!" Amanda spoke with tremendous fear. "Really? I was thinking of letting you go, but since you don't want to, I guess I'll have to go through with punishing you." Henry said with his index finger on his chin. Clara and Eric looked at each other with confusion. They wondered what Henry had planned for the girls and couldn't wait to find out. "Amanda, climb the stairs." Henry ordered. "What? No." Amanda protested. Henry walked slowly to her. "Amanda, get on the fucking stairs. I want you way up there, and I won't tell you again." Henry said in between clenched teeth. Everyone felt the temperature drop, and Amanda went up the staircase out of fear. Everyone present there knew how ferocious Henry's anger was. Esther just looked in fear for her friend, as Henry also climbed upstairs. It was a tall building, and the staircase was taller than the one Ellen had been pushed down. Amanda began to shiver as he stood beside her. She was beginning to realize how incredibly foolish it was of her to blurt out her crime the way she did, and she understood Henry could be very manipulative to get what he wanted, and convincing as well. He was a lion king who knew how to woo his prey to his cave, no matter what. It was too late for regrets in loving him. "Henry, please don't do this, I beg you." Amanda pleaded as she cried. "Hmmm, I wonder if Abby pleaded for both of you to stop bugging her and her friends." Henry said. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt her, I'm sorry." She continued to plead, and Esther began to cry as well. "Clara, please say something. He will listen to you, please. Tell him to stop." Esther begged, and "Aaaaaaahhhh!!!!!!" Amanda came rolling down the stairs in pain. "Amanda! Henry, have you gone mad?" Esther asked in shock. Clara and Eric were also kind of surprised. Neither of them expected this. "Well, you are not the first person to ask that, and I'm probably sure you won't be the last either. I mean, Clara asks me that all the time. Now, if I were you, I'd worry about thinking about what is going to happen to me. But first, I'd call for help because I have a feeling your best friend is going to be a cripple. I will deal with you later." He said and left with his friends. "Amanda, are you alright? I'm going to get help, okay." Esther said when Amanda groaned.
