Kael's POV.
She actually left after I bit her.
Crap!
She picked a bad time to leave. I thought she would be around so I could monitor her. She needed to know the truth about what I had done to her.
However, I let her leave without saying goodbye to me. I called onto her to stop but I could feel my connection with her faltering at the moment. The heartbreak, the pain she felt leaving me behind. Leaving everything behind.
Did I push her to leave? I didn't mean to, I just wanted to stay far away, to get revenge for my people but I guessed I pushed too far.
Now… she was gone.
"No, I have to tell her," I sprung up to my feet. "She can't leave without the truth."
I charged forward with all might, crashing backwards as the chains sent a shock through my body and halting me. I groaned in pain and picked myself up, trying countless times but I ended up hurting my wrist instead.
