Flying Sword Sect
As usual, the sect's disciples diligently practiced their swordsmanship in the morning. The training arena was divided into three sections. The outer section was for outer disciples who were just learning the basics; the middle section was for inner disciples pursuing intermediate-level sword skills; and the innermost section was reserved for core disciples—chief and direct disciples of the sect elders.
Selene had been a core disciple since the moment she entered the sect, after one of the elders noticed her exceptional talent. Not just one, but she became the direct disciple of three elders at once. The first taught her the Sky-splitting Sword, the second the Icy Sword, and the third the Light Sword.
After mastering three different sword paths, she eventually created a technique that was entirely her own: Moonbound Swordsmanship.
