Just as Bella Dillon turned her head, Faye Yardley heard a scream before the call cut off abruptly.
Jolting upright from the floor, Faye Yardley stared at the empty space where the screen had just vanished. "I didn't just get her killed, did I?" she muttered. "Bella Dillon, you better hang in there. Don't die on me now."
She took out a large piece of pan-fried fish and ate it to calm her nerves.
