Faye Yardley wasn't one for pointless speculation, so she asked him directly, "Let me ask you something. What's your relationship with Hailey Miles?"
On the other end, Kyle Lewis was clearly taken aback for a moment. Unsure if her question was a good or bad thing, he decided to tell the truth. "Does having made one trade count as a relationship?"
Faye Yardley breathed a sigh of relief. 'Maybe they get connected later in the novel I read, but at least for now, they aren't, right?'

'After all, the fact that I was inexplicably thrown into this book's world proves things are already different from the start.'
So she said, "Then that means no relationship. Send the materials over. I'll make it for you."
Kyle Lewis was young, not stupid. He immediately knew that Faye Yardley and Hailey Miles must not get along. Thankfully, he hadn't tried to be clever and claim they were close friends. He quickly sent over the materials he had prepared via a Red Envelope.
They had traded once before, so there was a small foundation of trust between them. He felt that when asking for a favor, there was no need to go through the formal trade interface again.
Faye Yardley didn't delay after receiving the materials. She went straight to her workbench, placed six sets of materials for Blood Replenishing Potions inside, and clicked 'Start Crafting'.
The crafting process finished after nearly a minute.
When Faye Yardley reached out to collect the items, a system notification popped up: [Obtained Blood Replenishing Potion x6. Talent triggered. Harvest doubled. Total obtained: Blood Replenishing Potion x12]
Stunned for a second, Faye Yardley couldn't help but let out another gasp of surprise.
She jumped up and down on the spot in excitement.
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! Even items made at the workbench can trigger my Talent! This... this... HAHAHAHA..."
Happiness had come so suddenly and in such abundance today. Fortunately, Faye Yardley still had a sliver of rationality left. She quickly sent three Blood Replenishing Potions over to Kyle Lewis.
'Good heavens, am I, Faye Yardley, the survival system's chosen one?!'
She covered her mouth, but she couldn't suppress the smile spreading across her face.
She didn't know what other people's Talents were like, but she was pretty sure hers was one of a kind.

She still had 16 chests left to open.

The pleasant system notifications kept coming. By this point, Faye Yardley's mindset had actually calmed down quite a bit. 'What can I say? I'm a seasoned veteran now, I've seen it all.'
Looking at the last chest before her, Faye Yardley rubbed her hands together and took a deep breath. "System Daddy, you have to love me! Open!"

"Five times!" Faye Yardley felt that happiness could indeed strike with even greater force.
Then it hit her. "Sanitary pads... AHHH! If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have forgotten I get my period every month."
"In a world like this, if you got your period and didn't have any pads, the smell of blood would probably attract a swarm of Sea Monsters, right? Even if they don't attack the raft, just seeing them circling would be terrifying." Faye Yardley muttered to herself, "It was already hard enough, and now they're adding another layer of difficulty for all of us women because of our biology."
If she hadn't gotten sanitary pads from a chest, she would have assumed she was truly in a game world, where people were like the avatars in games from her previous life, without any gender-based biological differences.
