Josie Quinn looked up and saw two zombies lunging at the three of them.
Luna Quinn completely ignored whether the other two lived or died, screaming as she charged toward Josie.
Josie was just about to pull Granny Cameron to safety when Jane Alden beat her to it.
By the time she thought to dodge, Luna was already right in front of her.
She was shouting, "Sis, save me!"
But a vicious glint flashed in her eyes. Before she even reached Josie, her hand was already stretching out toward her.
Josie saw it all clearly. She snorted and was about to transform when an arm suddenly wrapped around her waist.
By the time she came to her senses, Felix Fields was holding her by the waist, having pulled her aside to dodge.
Having missed her grab, Luna stumbled in surprise and fell flat on the ground.
GURGLE…
A zombie that was close behind pounced on her.
Luna didn't have time to get up. She kicked and thrashed, crying out in panic, "No! Don't eat me."
