The fur on his tail stood completely on end, revealing the delicate skin underneath. Holly Wyatt could even see the pink blood vessels pulsing within it.
The pulsing grew faster and faster, making her dizzy just watching.
Holly Wyatt pursed her lips, took the salt shaker from Mrs. Wyatt, and haphazardly shook some salt into her own bowl.
Her hand was trembling uncontrollably.
Hugh Wyatt, sitting beside Holly, glanced over with a bewildered expression. Spotting the mountain of salt—nearly half the shaker's worth—in his sister's bowl, he quickly snatched the salt shaker from her hand.
"Sis! What are you doing!? Are you trying to eat that much salt first thing in the morning?!"
