Cian scoffed the moment he finished speaking.
"I'm afraid that won't be possible. She promised to spend the evening with me." He paused, then deliberately called out to Seraphina Quinn in an incredibly affectionate tone, "Isn't that right, Seraphina?"
Seraphina Quinn didn't want to deal with either of them.
Just as she turned to leave, Cian narrowed his eyes. "Seraphina Quinn, if you walk away just like this, don't you regret it."
Seraphina Quinn's steps faltered, and she glanced back at him.
Cian took a file folder from his assistant's hand and waved it at Seraphina Quinn. "Come here. I want to show you something."
Seraphina Quinn frowned. "What is it?"
Cian began to speak. "He deceived you. Not only did he not get a vasectomy, but he also got you pregnant. Afraid you'd get an abortion, he bribed the hospital director to alter your physical exam report…"
