Just as Seraphina Quinn raised her hand to slap her again,
Chloe Kendall's mother, Mrs. Kendall, appeared.
Mrs. Kendall strode forward and grabbed Seraphina Quinn's wrist.
Mrs. Kendall's gaze was sharp as she looked at Seraphina Quinn.
"Mrs. Fairchild, my daughter is young and foolish. It's true she's done a few things to upset you. But it takes two to tango. If Fairchild hadn't been subtly encouraging her, how could my daughter have possibly developed feelings for him? He's the one who took advantage of her when he was drunk. My daughter and the Kendall Family are the real victims here. We've had to swallow this bitter pill and haven't dared to say a word. Why must you be so aggressive?"
