He rushed back to Bihu Twin Seals, an amorous smile brimming on his face.
An expert in all eighteen schools of martial arts, he was going to let Zhao Xiangjun find out just how ferocious he could be tonight!
He sprinted into the elevator and took long, purposeful strides the moment he stepped out.
WAHAHA~! The moment his hand touched the fingerprint lock, he was already lost in a fantasy: he would burst in, sweep her into his arms, and get the ball rolling, so to speak.
"Honey… uh, what are you doing here?"
He got halfway through the word before he entered and saw Xu Jia was there too. He slammed on the mental brakes so hard he nearly self-combusted.
"Chen Xiao, why do I get the feeling you're not happy to see me?"
'Happy to see you, my ass! We have plenty of crystal chandeliers in here; we don't need a third wheel like you.'
With a resentful look, Chen Xiao said, "It's so late. Aren't you going to go home to Ren Jie? Aren't you worried he'll go out and fool around?"
