Among them were the Minister of Foreign Affairs and high-ranking officers from the Knight Order; they comprised the leadership team visiting Yusofa this time.
Mary's Chief Knight, Yaxin Matic, was also present, which surprised Lian slightly.
However, after noticing the way the Old Knight looked at Nancy Stuart, Lian was no longer surprised.
'That old geezer. He's ancient, yet he's still a lech.'
Perhaps worried Lian would get jealous, Nancy Stuart said to him,
"Mr. Matic has actually always been very good to me. He's a very kind elder."
Lian raised an eyebrow and said in a low voice,
"Maybe he was a kind elder before, but after seeing your true face, he isn't anymore. It takes a man to know one."
Nancy Stuart faltered. She looked up, and her gaze met that of the Six-star Knight Yaxin Matic. She instantly shrank back, frightened by the wicked desire hidden in his eyes.
She had once truly believed that Knight Yaxin Matic was one of the few good people in Mary's circle.
