Lian had expected his reputation to take a hit, but he never thought it would be this severe.
One noble family was even audacious enough to try and extort him by demanding Lian take their "reputationally damaged" daughter as a mistress.
Lian decided to make them pay for his emotional distress, raising the compensation from three-quarters of their family fortune to four-fifths. He hoped they would turn over a new leaf and start fresh after arriving in Green Shade Territory.
And Anna, true to her word, had a big surprise for Lian.
Green Shade Territory had gained a Magic Architect, a one-in-a-hundred talent in the field of construction.
This was because talented individuals who understood Magic were either in the Church Court or affiliated with the Royal Palace. It was rare to find an unaffiliated Mage wandering freely, let alone one working in the niche profession of architecture.
