Jack Moria asked.
"How do you know Tauriel wanting to marry me isn't just another scheme?"
This was the second time Lian had heard Tauriel's name. Though he hadn't made a point of learning about her, Nancy's tense expression was enough to tell him that Tauriel was, in fact, an exceptional woman.
'Since she's so exceptional and her family is so prominent, why is she in such a hurry to marry me, an illegitimate child who hasn't even made it into the Moria Clan's registry?'
'There's definitely something fishy about this.'
"Even if it is a scheme, it doesn't matter. You just need to have Tauriel bear you a child. In the end, we, the Morias of Green Shade Territory, will still be the ones who come out on top."
The corners of Jack Moria's mouth lifted slightly, revealing the smile of an old fox.
Lian narrowed his eyes. 'This guy is definitely up to something.'
'In any case, there's no way I'm accepting an arranged marriage.'
