"Oh, look at that, my silly son. What's with that expression? Don't tell me you didn't get my letter?"
As Jack Moria spoke to Lian, his eyes never left Nancy Stuart.
Even with his many wives and mistresses, not a single one could compare to Nancy Stuart's beauty. This made the little old man's nose tingle with emotion as he lamented internally, 'It truly is a case of one generation planting the trees so the next can enjoy the shade. If it weren't for me, would Lian Moria have such a handsome face? Such a distinguished family background? Such a mountain of debt?'
'Well, the debt part can be ignored. That was all for his own good.'
Lian's mouth twitched. He moved to shield Nancy behind him. 'This old coot, he's so old, can't he show a little restraint?'
Upon hearing Tauriel's name, Nancy Stuart's lovely brows furrowed almost imperceptibly. She felt an inexplicable sense of crisis.
She had met Catherine, who couldn't compare to her in either temperament or looks.
