Megan Kane was at home, drowsy after her workday, figuring there was no way she could investigate it herself anyway.
After all, the current situation was shrouded in mystery. She had no idea how many people out there were trying to harm her.
But perhaps as a cruel joke from fate, everything suddenly started going contrary to her wishes.

The assistant who ran in was in a panic. Whatever had happened must have been major, as he was even stuttering as he spoke.
Megan Kane frowned slightly. She really didn't understand what could have happened to warrant such nervousness.
"Can't you just tell me what happened? You're so frantic that I have no idea what's going on, and I don't know how to help you solve it."
"Can you please calm down and tell me what happened?"
"Are you listening to me?"
