Michael was standing outside with a nearly finished cigarette, waiting for Evans.
"So? What do you think?" Michael asked Evans, who had just come out of the cafe.
"She will probably propose the idea to the board and talk with the BBC; it will take at least two days. How did you know she has connections with the BBC?" Evans asked.
"Eh! Just a hunch." Micheal said.
"Uh-huh"
"Evans...order some mini cigars for me. And get me a cigar case..." Michael said, looking at the butt of the cigarette.
"I am not your assistant... you should stop smoking so much," Evans said, giving Michael the side eye.
"Just do it," Michael said bluntly.
"Okay," Michael waited for a few seconds before replying.
"I always wanted to smoke cigars. Since I have money now, I can buy some," Michael thought while getting into Evan's car.

Next day when Michael woke, he was met with a phone call.
"Sup?" Michael asked.
"BBC and Netflix have talked and they want to co-produce the show," Evans said.
"So fast?" Michael asked.
"Yeah, Poppy is very high on the ladder. He has a lot of connections. BBC is desperate, so they readily agreed to Netflix. With Netflix in the deal, they would have less uncertainty about the project," Evans explained.
"Nice! Tell them that we will sign a contract today if possible. After signing the contract, announce it on all my social media and tell them to do the same," Michael said.
"Yes, yes... by the way, have you written anything?" asked Evans with a bit of awkwardness.
"Ugh...come on, Evans. I have just woken up," Michael said with some tiredness.
"Sorry, sorry... Anyway, I will talk to you when I have the contract in my hand," said Evans, regretting asking Michael the question.
"K," said Michael, irritated, cutting the call.

After eating his food and mingling with his family, Michael sat down on his chair and opened his new laptop.
Opening the software, he kept looking at the blinking cursor on the laptop.
"Sigh..." Michael closed the laptop after 15 minutes.
Then again, waiting and looking at the closed laptop.
"You can do this, Mikey," said Michael.
He opened the software and wrote the title.
"The Owen Threshold.
(The Judgment • The Metamorphosis • In the Penal Colony • A Hunger Artist • A Country Doctor)" Michael wrote on the title and subtitle.
"Huff... it's going to be a wild ride. It will take a toll on my mental stability. I will keep the progress to a minimum. I will release this right after my third book. But what should I write after my official third book? Romance? A tragedy again? Thriller? Mystery? I don't know," Michael thought while saving the title and switching off the laptop.
It has been decided by Michael that the good girl's guide to murder's second book will be released right after its show, which is most probably going to be in 2024. Well, there are only approximately two months left for 2023 to start. Michael needs to write a book in 2023 for release because he doesn't want the hype of his work to diminish.
You could also ask why he doesn't release the Kafka collection he thought of. Well, according to him, Kafka is his favorite author, and he loved and adored his works. And because of how close he was to the stories, it has become very tough for him to copy them. But he wants to write it because he can't fathom a world without Kafka's works.
