The three of us were sitting on the massive, soft sofa in my new man cave.
The huge flat-screen TV glowed brightly in front of us. We had just finished dinner, and I was casually scrolling through the TV menus.
Suddenly, Mom reached over and snatched the remote right out of my hand.
She pressed a few buttons, and the big red "N" of Netflix popped up on the screen.
Dad and I both groaned at the exact same time.
"Oh, hush, both of you," Mom said, pointing the remote at the TV. "I have wanted to watch this for a long time. All my friends have been raving about it."
She clicked play on a show called Wednesday.
Dad sighed and leaned back, and I just shook my head with a smile.
We settled in and started watching.
A few minutes into the episode, a specific scene came on.
Two teenage girls were meeting in their boarding school dorm room for the very first time.
The room was split perfectly down the middle. One side was a massive rainbow explosion of colors, bright posters, and stuffed animals.
The other side was completely dark, gray, and gloomy.
A pale girl with dark braids and a black dress stood in the middle of the room. Suddenly, a bright, energetic girl with blonde hair and colorful highlights bounded up to her with a giant, sunny smile.
"Howdy, roomie!" the colorful girl, Enid, said happily. She opened her arms wide for a big, welcoming hug.
The dark-haired girl just stared at her with a blank, cold face and stepped back. "Do not touch me."
I stopped breathing.
I wasn't looking at the gloomy girl. I was staring at the colorful one. I watched her bright, expressive eyes. I listened to the fast, energetic way she spoke. I saw the hidden stubbornness underneath her cheerful smile.
"What is this feeling? I feel like I am drawn to her. She...she... I don't know what is happening. Oh my God," I thought.
I shot up from the sofa so fast that the cushions bounced, almost making Dad spill his drink.
"Pip," I whispered.
Mom paused the TV. Both of my parents looked up at me with wide, confused eyes.
"Michael?" Mom asked. "Are you okay? Did you forget something?"
"I'm fine," I said quickly.
My heart was beating incredibly fast. My mind racing.
"I am so sorry, Mom, Dad. I have to make a very important phone call right now. I will be right back." I said.
I didn't wait for them to answer. I practically ran out of the man cave and into the quiet hallway.
I pulled out my phone with shaking hands and pressed my manager's name.
He answered on the second ring. "Michael? I just reached home. Is something wrong?"
"Evans, listen to me," I said, gripping the phone tightly. "Tell the representatives of BBC and Netflix right now that I have someone I want to recommend for Pip Fritz Amobi."

The girl who cried reading Micheal's first book, watch Micheal going off with his coffee infused laptop, who watched him sitting on a bench in park; was now sitting on her dining table.
Her whole family was there; they were having breakfast together. Since it was Sunday, her two younger sisters and her older sister were in the house, including her father and mother.
When she was eating, her phone started vibrating. Even though her mom never liked phones on the dining table, she had to take the risk.
"Pick it up. It must be important," the girl's mom said.
"Okay!" said the girl.
"Its Erica!! Maybe she has a audition for me..." the girl thought.
"Hey Eri-" the girl said, but before she finished her greeting, Erica screamed.
"EMMA!!"
"Ow! Why are you screaming?" Emma said.
"Never mind that! I have good news for you..." Erica said excitedly.
"What good news?" Emma jumped from her chair. "An audition?" she thought.
"A role." Erica said teasingly.
"What?" Emma didn't understood.
"A role! Main lead! In a young adult, mystery!" Erica practically screamed.
"What!?" Emma screamed after hearing that.
"Yes! Practically no auditions, they just want you to recite some lines! It's practically confirmed," Erica said.
"Omg! Omg! Omg!" Emma started jumping around, and her family looked at her wide-eyed.
"Yes! And you know what the best news is?" Erica asked.
"What?" Emma said while smiling ear to ear.
"It's an adaptation of a book... which is wildly popular nowadays. I don't remember the name. It's too long... yeah!! A Good Girl's Guide to Murder," said Erica to impatient Emma.
"Huh? W-what?" Emma stammered, not believing her ears. "W-what book did you just say?"
"A Good Girl's Guide to Murder," Erica said.

The next morning was very different for Michael.
It was just him in the house, so it was a bit lonely. Well, he could always just walk to his parents' house.
Michael took out his trusty mini cigar case. He took out one cigar and lit it on his dining table with a coffee, looking at the large lawn he had to himself.
"The reception for the announcement of the series was very overwhelming few months ago. Good, with this I have another bargaining chip to use against those companies. And with *Grave of the Fireflies* movie releasing in 2024...it's going to be so much fun," Michael said to himself while taking a puff of his cigar and drinking his coffee.
"Emma Myers. Huh! I think I have a crush. Well, I don't have any other way of justifying why I recommended her to the studios. I don't even know her." Micheal thought.
