¬ Hiln
Technically, Fashire coming to see me had more or less been the confirmation of his approval. Even if he had pushed me into the water.
May and Saffire had wanted to come to Fashire's wing to bring me along, and I had to persuade them, Saffire especially, not to do that. We had decided to meet here tomorrow morning, and I had spent a little more part of the day escorting them to where their Lords stayed, which wasn't too far, thankfully.
I bid them goodbye and left, feeling the first true spark of relief I had felt in days.
The walk back to the castle that evening made my chest feel heavy. He might most likely be there.
My thoughts drifted to his sudden tension I had seen earlier.
I pushed the thought aside.
Whatever was happening with him was not my concern.
I hoped there was something causing him far more suffering than I was.
I entered his wing, and before I could venture further, Becca rushed towards me.
"Hiln!"
