The sky above Giza had transformed into a battlefield where ancient sorcery clashed with dark technology. The Armored Ghost hovered in the air, propelled by upgraded thrusters. This time, he appeared more formidable than ever, clad in a chassis of matte black chrome that seemed to swallow the moonlight. Around him, grains of sand ascended into the air, caught in a violent electromagnetic field—as if the desert itself feared his presence.
"Listen, you wretch, I have no time to waste with you," the Ghost's voice crackled through cold, synthesized amplifiers as he aimed his plasma cannon at Maximilian. "My objective is the Queen—to use her as a biological conduit between dimensions. Step aside before I erase your very existence from this earth."
Maximilian stepped forward with unwavering confidence, his suit thrumming with the violet glow of the Ether stones, forming a shimmering light shield. He glanced at Zac and spoke firmly: "Zac, leave this Ghost to me. The soldiers and drones are yours. We need to buy Layla and Marley time. Go!"
Zac nodded, unsheathing his broadsword which erupted in a terrifying emerald flare. He launched himself like an arrow toward the Organization's troops, leaving a trail of sparks and shattered steel. Meanwhile, Maximilian raised a charged fist: "In your dreams, trash! You won't touch a hair on her head as long as I'm breathing. Step up, if you're man enough!"
At that moment, the Armored Ghost surged forward like a black meteor, colliding with Maximilian's shield in a deafening roar that shook the desert to its core—the battle of machines had begun.
On the other side, Violet (Layla) and Marley had slipped into a secret corridor beneath the Great Pyramid. The walls were covered in deep engravings that did not resemble ordinary hieroglyphics; they were shifting symbols, pulsing with a faint light whenever Layla drew near.
Layla opened the Book of Solomon, her trembling hand tracing the inscriptions. "Marley... look, the carvings are changing! The Book says that Anubis, the God of the Underworld, doesn't just guard tombs here. He guards the Cosmic Gate. It is written: 'The Guardian shall awaken when strangers dare to desecrate the sanctuary with the blood of betrayal.'"
Marley scanned the area with hawk-like eyes, her hand igniting with blue fire to pierce the crushing darkness. Suddenly, she heard a faint metallic click beneath Layla's foot. "Violet! Stop!" Marley screamed, lunging toward her. "You've stepped on a pressure plate! Get down!"
Before Marley's voice could fade, the pyramid shuddered with a violent, seismic tremor. The crystalline floor buckled and split beneath them. The sound of massive boulders crashing into a bottomless abyss echoed through the chamber. Layla clung to a jagged rock ledge, while Marley struggled to grip the collapsing wall.
From the depths of the abyss, it wasn't just the sound of falling rocks that emerged. A deep, non-human roar resonated, and two eyes—the color of violet flame—ignited in the pitch-black void. A massive body wrapped in black magical linen, featuring a jackal's head forged from steel and gold, began to rise slowly from the darkness.
"It's him..." Layla whispered, looking down in terror. "Anubis isn't just a myth. He's the Anunnaki's final defense system!"
As Maximilian took a brutal hit from the Armored Ghost that sent him reeling across the dunes, Marley screamed, seeing the ledge Layla held onto crumbling: "Layla, jump to the right!" But before she could move, a massive, shadowy hand reached out from the abyss, grabbing Layla's ankle and dragging her down into the darkness.
Outside, the drones suddenly froze, and the apex of the Pyramid began to emit a black light that veiled the entire Giza sky, signaling the start of the "Retribut"
