1. The Mana Core Grade System
In this world, power is determined by a creature's Mana Core. It acts as the body's internal engine.
F-Grade to E-Grade: The bottom of the food chain. Regular humans, unawakened peasants, and base-level monsters (like regular sewer rats or standard goblins).
D-Grade: The baseline for trained fighters. This includes Zenith Academy students, standard city guards, and low-tier adventurers. They can use basic magic and aura coating.
C-Grade: The realm of the Elite. This includes Apex Variants, high nobles, and City Lords. Grik, Nyssa, and Kaelith are currently operating at this tier. A C-Grade core is highly volatile and requires a mutated or heavily tempered physical body to contain it.
B-Grade to A-Grade: Continental threats. Elite Royal Guards, Arch-Mages, and warlords.
S-Grade and Beyond: Walking calamities, ancient dragons, and the rulers of the world.
2. Stat Scaling: Double vs. Triple Digits
Stats in the System do not scale linearly. The jump from double digits to triple digits is a massive leap in physical reality.
Double Digits (10 to 99): This represents mortal and slightly superhuman limits. A Strength stat of 45 means Grik could shatter bone and punch through thin metal, but he was still bound by basic physics.
Triple Digits (100+): This represents a complete break from mortal limits. Once a stat crosses the 100-point threshold, the laws of physics begin to warp. Grik's current Strength of 240 does not mean he hits five times harder than when he had 45 Strength. It means his physical output is now classified as heavy artillery. He can shatter reinforced blast doors, crush monster skulls into dust, and generate enough kinetic force to cause shockwaves.
3. Biological Bottlenecks and Evolution
Leveling up is not just a smooth ramp of getting slightly stronger every day. The body has hard physical limits called bottlenecks.
A D-Grade body can only hold so many stats before the muscles and veins literally tear themselves apart from the pressure.
To break a bottleneck, a creature must reach a specific Level Milestone (like Level 10 or Level 20) and undergo an Evolution.
Evolution is a violent, agonizing process where the System forcefully rewrites the host's DNA. When Grik hit Level 20, his body shed its old limits during his Stage 2 Ascension. This is exactly why his stats spiked from the 40s and 50s directly into the 200s. His body was completely rebuilt to house a C-Grade engine.
4. The Core Attributes
Strength (STR): Pure kinetic output, lifting capacity, and blunt-force trauma limits.
Agility (AGI): Movement velocity, muscle reflex speed, and joint flexibility.
Vitality/Endurance (VIT): Biological durability, stamina reserves, and tissue regeneration speed.
Mana Capacity (MP): The maximum volume of arcane energy the core can store and safely channel.
Perception (PER): Sensory processing speed. Allows the host to track high-speed movements or spot invisible threats.
Logic (LOG): Tactical reasoning, problem-solving speed, and the ability to understand complex mechanics.
Willpower (WIL): Mental fortitude against physical pain, mind control, and spiritual pressure.
Charm (CHM): Pheromone density, charismatic gravity, and authority projection. High Charm forces weaker enemies to submit.
5. Normal vs. Unique Skills
Normal Skills: Abilities that can be learned by anyone through repetitive physical practice or by reading spell books (e.g., basic swordsmanship, low-tier fireballs, standard stealth). They are common and predictable.
Unique Skills: Rare, rule-breaking abilities granted exclusively by the System, ancient bloodlines, or massive Lust Point purchases. They cannot be learned or copied by normal people. Nyssa's "Reality Weaver" and Grik's "The King's Men" are Unique Skills. They are the ultimate trump cards that allow Sovereigns to conquer the continent.
