Turles stared at the power scaling system organized by his System and fell into deep thought.
The 12 Stages of the Mortal Realm.
The 9 Heavens of the Divine Realm.
The 5 Tiers of the Angel Realm.
The 2 Stages of the High Priest Realm.
The King Realm.
Transcendence.
And apparently, reaching the Sixth Heaven of the Divine Realm placed one squarely within the God of Destruction domain.
"This hierarchy actually makes a lot of sense," Turles mused. "The universe is already split into these distinct tiers: Mortals, Deities, Angels, the High Priest, and Zeno. This is a perfect way to categorize them."
"I'm only at the peak of the Ninth Heaven of the Divine Realm? But at full power, I reach the Second Tier of the Angel Realm? That means Beerus is likely no match for me anymore..."
"Alright, Host, I'll leave you to it," the System's voice chimed in. "I'm heading out. Levels don't raise themselves, and there are plenty of marks to rob—I mean, plenty of work to do! Second Brother, Third Brother, let's move!"
With that, the three systems vanished. Turles shook his head. Robbing, huh? Why even bother changing the word? It's not like I don't know what you're up to.
The next morning, Glorio arrived to pick everyone up and continue their journey. Turles took a quick moment to scan the group's power levels.
Son Goku: Peak of the First Heaven, Divine Realm.
Vegeta: First Heaven, Divine Realm.
Future Bulma: Peak of the Third Heaven, Divine Realm.
Piccolo: 12th Stage, Mortal Realm.
As for the Supreme Kai? Not even worth mentioning. Aside from the status of his divine position, his actual combat power was pathetically low.
"Interesting," Turles thought. "Everyone has progressed so much since the Majin Buu incident. It looks like Kakarot and Vegeta have both mastered Super Saiyan 4. Otherwise, they wouldn't be this strong."
However, the moment Glorio stepped out of the inn, his world came crashing down. He discovered that his aircraft had been stolen.
Not only was the ship gone, but the thieves had left behind an axe and a note covered in taunts.
"Those bastards!" Glorio yelled, his face turning red with fury. "Dammit! I made sure it was locked tight!"
Bulma gave him a deadpan look. She reached into her pocket, pulled out a Capsule, clicked the button, and tossed it into the clearing.
Poof!
To the shock of Glorio and the gathering crowd of Demon Realm residents, the Supreme Kai's spaceship appeared instantly.
"Let's go," Bulma said, waving them toward the hatch. "Lucky I put the ship away last night, or it probably would have been snatched too. Is the security in the Demon Realm really this bad?"
Glorio was speechless. This was a first even for him.
As the aircraft soared through the sky, Goku suddenly pointed toward a building shaped like a giant teapot. "Hey, look! What's that?"
"That looks like... a shop?" Shin said, sounding a bit uncertain.
"Really? Let's go eat! I'm starving!" Goku shouted, rubbing his stomach.
Vegeta gave a small nod of agreement. It had been a while since their last meal, and his Saiyan appetite was catching up to him.
The aircraft touched down, and the group entered the shop. Bulma stared at the menu board and went quiet. "Is this...?"
"Grilled lizard skewers!" the shopkeeper chirped.
Future Bulma looked at Turles. "Husband..."
Turles nodded understandingly. He reached into his storage dimension and pulled out a variety of delicious Earth food. It was clear Bulma wasn't interested in the local "delicacies."
However, seeing Goku and Vegeta devouring the lizard skewers like they were the best things on the planet, Turles decided to try one. To his surprise, it wasn't bad at all.
Then, Turles remembered something. This was the shop that sold all those special bugs.
"Shopkeeper, do you have anything unique for sale?"
"Unique? I have all sorts of bugs. You interested?"
"Bugs?"
"That's right! I've got Revival Bugs to restore your stamina, Scald Bugs for burns, and Headache Bugs to kill the pain. I've even got Beauty Bugs to make your skin smooth, and Fusion Bugs that can merge two people together. Well? You interested, customer?"
Goku and the others were amazed. They had never heard of bugs with such versatile functions.
Turles nodded. "In that case, I'll take some of everything."
As for the mass-produced "Third Eyes" on the shelf, Turles didn't even give them a second glance. Those trinkets were worthless compared to the research value of these insects.
As for payment? Turles, who possessed Miracle Power, had no use for money. With a simple thought, he manipulated the odds and became the wealthiest person in the Demon Realm in an instant.
The group set off again, and before long, they spotted another small town.
"That's King Gomah's Gendarmerie!" Glorio whispered urgently.
"The Gendarmerie?"
"Yes. They're likely here to collect this year's tribute."
"Tribute? What happens to those who can't pay?" Goku asked.
"If they can't pay the tribute, they have to give up their lifespan."
"What?! Their lifespan?!"
"That's right. Those are King Gomah's rules."
"That's going too far!" Goku snarled. He was already preparing to jump off the aircraft to deal with the soldiers.
Turles rubbed his chin, watching the Demon Realm folk below. This world really was strange—using years of life as currency. It meant that as long as the ruler wasn't killed, they could technically rule forever. It was absurd.
Suddenly, a commotion broke out below. A mysterious figure wearing a cloak and a mask leaped into the fray.
"Who are you?!" the Gendarmes shouted, immediately going on high alert.
"Who am I? The person who's going to kick your butts, that's who!"
The figure pulled out a bomb and tossed it at them. "Heh heh! This is my special Mustard Bomb! Taste its power!"
The Gendarmes scrambled back in terror. However, when the bomb went off, the explosion was weaker than a popping balloon.
The mysterious figure froze. "Uh oh!"
Turning tail, the figure started to run. The Gendarme Captain's face turned beet red. "You little...! How dare you play us for fools! Catch that brat!"
Just as the soldiers were about to grab the cloaked figure, Goku moved. Vegeta followed a split second later.
In the blink of an eye, every Gendarme was flat on the ground. The mysterious figure stopped running and gulped.
"So... so strong!"
Glorio frowned as he watched from the ship. "This is bad. We're going to be wanted men now..."
"So what? We're here to take down King Gomah anyway, aren't we?"
Turles leaped down and looked at the cloaked figure. "And you, little girl. You've got quite a lot of nerve. Very brave, though."
"Hmph! That's only because the gunpowder in my Mustard Bomb was damp!"
"Let's move," Turles suggested. "This isn't the place for a chat."
The group jumped back onto the aircraft, with Bulma keeping the ship steady with expert precision. Surprisingly, the mysterious figure followed them up.
Once inside, the stranger removed her mask and cloak. Beneath was a sweet-looking young girl with twin tails. Her skin color was remarkably similar to the Supreme Kai's.
She was a classic Demon Realmian.
"Who are you people? How are you so strong?" the girl asked, looking at Goku and Vegeta with curiosity. "And your ears... they're round. What race are you?"
"We're Saiyans," Goku replied. "And we're this strong because we train, obviously!"
"Saiyans? Does that race even exist in the Demon Realm?"
Seeing the girl turning into a walking encyclopedia of questions, Glorio cut in. "They're from the Second Demon Realm. Now, who are you? If you don't have anything important to say, please leave."
