Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Arthur's POV.

"Is everyone alright?" I asked them sincerely.

This in fact was a dumb question and a realised it the second it came out of my mouth, cause for one who would be alright after being tortured for who knows how long and being almost turned into a poxwalker. So while I used telekinesis to rip open the cage, I also took the time to properly look at my future minions, the first one to stand out to me was a women who had torn clothing stained with blood.

She had beautiful face paired with clear icy blue eyes, short black hair tied into a high ponytail and a fit physic. This women was fucking psyker too, like what are the odds of me meeting one beside me. She's looking at me like I was some kind of life line- hmm maybe I can take advantage of that- the feelings she's radiating are also what caught my interest, relief, happiness, determination.

She's interesting, great sage keep an eye on her.

[Answer: Affirmative.]

The next one to catch my interest was an abhuman, she's got a scowl on her pretty face, grey eyes that look like they've seen and been through too much with one of them have a scar running down, a pair of wolf ears with piercings on them and a fluffy white tail that matches the rest of her hair. She kinda looks like a gang member to be honest, probably from the underhive. Next is a clergy women with brown hair and eyes that had lost their light and dirty clergy clothes. One of her arms was mangled, hanging loosely while the other clutched a rosary, like her life depended on it. Next to her was a bald guy wearing a torn guardsmen uniform, a pair of black eyes and a dead look on his face.

(A/N: yeah I'm horrible at descriptions so you'll have to forgive me for this.)

There were others too but these are the people that caught my interest. While all this was going through my mind, not even a second passed in real time- Perks of having a mind that can process large amounts of information and the skill thought acceleration- the cage was opened enough to allow them to get out one by one.

So great sage, is the analysis done?

[Answer: Affirmative. The analysis is done and they have been infected both physically and spiritual, especially the clergy women and the psyker. I already have a way to heal them and have guaranteed its success through simulations testing. I'll impart that knowledge to you now.]

"Alright now that you guys are out, it's time to get you healed. I'll start with the ones with the most severe injuries and infections."

I walked towards the psyker first and put my hand on top of her head, this just to allow me access to her soul since she's primarily a telepath and a telekinetic secondary. I flooded her soul with psychic energy and controlled it with surgical precision to gently remove all the spiritual viruses and the small bit of Nurgle's corruption that wanted to take root into her soul while on the other hand I used the transfered knowledge of biomancy and slowly healed her physical body. To anyone else this would have been difficult but to me it was easy, all thanks to usage of all my cheats combined. In essence great sage basically used the warp as a Google search to find the knowledge and then broke it down for me to understand, my genius intellect took that understanding into a deeper level and then great sage created simulations for me to gain better experience in using it.

They then shared that experience with me thus making the application easy. Meanwhile the six eyes granted me the perception and the precion needed to pull this off without making any mistake or missing anything. That means I just used a mastered a fundamental aspect of biomancy in a matter of a couple of minutes which is such bullshit but who cares, cause I don't. Anyway after I was finished with the psyker, I went and did the same for the clergy women while also removing the small amount of golden corruption which I assumed to be the Emperors psychic energy.

(A/N: Basically Arthur just performed spiritual and physical surgery at the same time.)

Yeah sorry not sorry big E but I'm taking this one for myself.

After I was done with her, I went and did the same for the others. It was once again easy and I did I even faster since I now had hands on experience- not just simulations- no matter how little, it pushed my mastery of the biomancy further then ever.

Note to self: Use biomancy to push my physical body to peak human and beyond. Also Integrate the guardsmen's combat training memory and experience.

Yeah, I read his memories, well more like his combat memories and knowledge. Is it a violation of his privacy? Yes, yes it is- do I care? Nope, not one bit.

"And done. Now that you guys are healed mind introducing yourselves?"

The first to step up was the blue eyed women and she was a bit enthusiastic despite the suffering she went through.

"I'm Vera, a manufactoria worker and someone good instincts."

I raised an eyebrow at her intro, she's acting like this an interview. I let out an amused snort and nodded at her. She smiled happy and let the next person take the stage, the wolf abhuman.

"My name is lappland boss, a hunter, a gangster and someone with the sharpest senses."

I nodded and said " Next."

I saw her ears drooped- Cute- and the guardsmen was next. His name was Jake and he was a newly appointed guard who just finished his training and was set to fight along side his comrades. He specializes in close quarters combat and is an expert in ranged weapon usage, as for how he was captured- he was apparently ganged upon and one of his comrades was apparently a traitor so he got captured and was torture for weeks. The next couple of people introduced themselves and what they can do, some of them came from the outskirts so they were more like scavengers who knew the area by heart while the others came from deeper into the lower hive just like me and four others with Vera included. The clergy women was next, her name was Seris and she was more of a medic and a choir co-ordinator and singer.

After everyone was done introducing themselves I told them to help search the factory for anything useful and I also had some of them to search the bodies of the Dregs. A couple of minutes later they gathered everything they could find and I threw it in my inventory.

"Alright now that, that's done, does anyone know a place where we can stay, preferably that's a safe distance from the inner hive while also having power?"

"Boss there's a place that can satisfy your preference but it's a distance away"

One of the outcasts said hesitantly as if scared I will be dissatisfied or angry. Oh they started calling me boss or sir depending on the person when they were gathering, Lappland started it and it just kinda spread to everyone from there- didn't think it was so easy to gain followers. I looked at her and asked her if there's a other location of interest and she told me that there are areas for me to gathering more materials.

"Listen up everyone before we head to our final destination, we need to go to the scrap yard and gather materials since I will be making you guys and myself a couple of things."

"Yes boss!"

"Good. Those who know how to fight stand in the front and back, those who can't will be in the middle."

Everyone assembled into formation, there were ten people here not including me, 3 are combatants, four are outcasts and the other three are workers. With me in the front, Lappland at the back, Jake on one side and Vera on the other and then the others in the middle- we set off.

Once we find a good base of operation, I need to ask Jake and Lappland to teach the others how to fight. I don't want any burdens while I'm also still trying to survive.

__☆__

It's been a couple of hours since I found the survivor and they proved themselves useful- the outcasts and scavengers really helped me in mapping the area and finding areas of importance, which ones are relatively safe and dangerous.

The past few hours have been quite demanding for my minions, not only did they have to walk long distances to and from the scrap yard -which was quite the harvest for me since I found a lot of useful things- they also had to fight dozens upon dozens of poxwalkers, plague zombies, even zombie mutants. It was honestly quite exhausting for me too since for one I was never the athletic type in my previous life and in this one too, secondly I had to cast psychic filters on them so that they don't catch any spiritual diseases and viruses again, finally dealing with zombie mutants was a mentally draining activity as they are quite tanky.

It was worth it though since I got to what I needed and I got to assess the combat capabilities of my minions- Vera was a novice and was mostly fighting based on her intuition more than skill and discipline which makes sense since she was just a factory worker, Jake was what you would expect from a trained guardsmen, he was skilled and discipline and Lappland was a wild one who most fought based on instinct and sheer brutally and she was the most experienced fighter out of the group. I had great sage analysis their fighting skills and run simulations on where they can all improve in a short amount of time.

Another thing I thought of and that added up the the hours was finding a source of food and water. That part left me disappointed since we couldn't find much of both and that means we'll have to ration until I can think of something.

We had just arrived at our place of operation and it was worse then expected but it was safe for the time being. Now I just have to do a some renovation and it will be livable.

Note to self: Build a better base and find better food and water.

So I'm done with chapter 6 and let me tell you dialogues are the bane of my existence. I can't even talk to people in real life and now I'm supposed to write about people talking, yeah I don't think I can do that shit but as always I'll leave it to you guys to judge if I did good or bad.

Also the chapter was a bit late since I've been hooked on read The Primordial Record novel and that shit is peak. I'm current in chapter 543 and lets just say the plot is speeding up.
