And to ensure Norman wouldn't survive even if he lost his head after mutating,
Ryan went up and delivered a follow-up kick to each side of Norman's chest.
Two kicks to the torso, one to the head—even a god would shake their head at that.
It was just a pity that in this Universe, Norman Osborn was forced offline before he could even become a complete Green Goblin.
Now that the killing was done, it was naturally time for some Fire.
After all, killing and arson go hand in hand.
While he was clearing out the security team in Osborn Manor earlier, he happened to find where they stockpiled their munitions.
Munitions are a kind of fire too; they're about the same.
Thus, after Ryan threw all the innocent servants he had knocked out earlier out of the manor, he began planting C4 all over the property.
Finally, after placing the mutated Norman's corpse among the pile of security guards' bodies, he swung away from the manor on Spider Silk and detonated the C4.
Amidst the flames, Ryan swung his Spider Silk and made a stylish exit.
As for what happened next, Ryan didn't need to worry about it.
Besides Peter and Gwen, no one else should ever know that he was the one behind it.
After all, he had the manor's layout and security plans, so he avoided the surveillance cameras the whole way, and he had ambushed those servants from behind to knock them out.
Moreover, he had blown up the manor's security room; it could be said to be foolproof.
Even if the police investigated, they would at most find Norman's mutated corpse, the bodies of the security team, and the ruins of the bombed Osborn Manor.
In the end, those clueless U.S. police would likely characterize the event as the mutated Norman and the security team slaughtering each other, eventually closing the case as a mutual destruction.
And the executives of Osborn Enterprises, who had long hoped for Norman's death, would further fuel the fire, turning even things that weren't Norman's fault into his responsibility.
After all, this way the board of directors would have a better reason to kick the osborn family out of Osborn Enterprises.
It's an old tradition of American enterprises: the board of directors kicking out the chairman.
Tony from Stark Industries and Harry from Osborn Enterprises had both experienced such nonsense.
So, with all these factors, Ryan wasn't worried at all that anyone would suspect him.
However, after finishing the job, Ryan didn't go straight home or back to the hotel to find the sleeping Gwen; instead, he went to Kingpin's Fisk Tower.
This time, Ryan didn't take the elevator; he climbed directly through the window into Kingpin's top-floor office.
After he tapped on the glass a few times, the Kingpin inside the office walked over and opened the window for him.
Once Ryan was inside, Kingpin asked with a smile, "Venom, why are you here?"
Hearing this, Ryan looked the Kingpin in front of him up and down and frowned: "Where's your boss?"
Kingpin froze for a moment, then spread his hands in realization:
"Just as the boss said, I can't hide it from you at all. Might I ask, how did you discover I'm not the boss himself?"
Ryan pointed dismissively at his face: "First, Kingpin never calls me Venom."
"Second, you're too fat. Over 90% of Kingpin's body, including his face, is muscle, while your face is covered in damn fat!"
"So tell me, where is your boss?"
"So that's how it is. I can't help that; after all, I don't have the boss's talent for training..." Kingpin's body double sighed, bowed respectfully to Ryan, and explained:
"As for the boss, a troublesome gang recently arrived in Hells Kitchen. The subordinates couldn't handle it, and since you were busy, the boss personally took men to deal with it..."
"A troublesome gang that requires Kingpin to step out personally?" Ryan's eyes narrowed as he asked curiously, "What's the name of that gang?"
Kingpins Impersonator had no intention of hiding it and answered honestly:
"They call themselves The Hand. They are the superior organization of the Rath Gang. They came to Hells Kitchen this time because of the Rath Gang's extermination last time..."
Hearing this, Ryan couldn't help but raise an eyebrow:
"The Hand? And it's for the Rath Gang's extermination? So this is still related to me, tsk..."
He remembered that when he helped Kingpin wipe out the Rath Gang last time, the Rath Gang's leader, Danial Rath, indeed said he was a member of The Hand... It's just that he didn't take it to heart at the time; after all, he only cared about getting paid to do a job, not the identity of the target.
As long as the money was right, he'd even take down the President for you!
The organization known as The Hand wasn't exactly that strong if you called it strong.
But if you called it weak, it wasn't exactly weak either.
After all, The Hand's ninja assassin groups were spread all over the World. Ninjas were those that were as sneaky as they come; being entangled by them was quite troublesome...
Seemingly seeing Ryan's concern, Kingpins Impersonator quickly spoke up to explain:
"Mr. Venom, please rest assured. The boss said that he commissioned you to do that job, so he will take responsibility for solving The Hand's matters. He will absolutely not let it involve you or your family in the slightest!"
Kingpins Impersonator said these words with very genuine emotion.
Because what kind of person did Kingpin fear Ryan becoming the most?
Not a cold-blooded assassin Venom... but a Venom with absolutely no worries about the future!
A cold-blooded Venom could at least be blinded by money... but a Venom without worries, without 'emotions', might find money useless...
So, if anyone in this World cared more about Ben and May than Ryan and Peter, it was Kingpin.
Because he knew that once Ben and May died, that cold-blooded Venom would immediately turn into a rabid spider that bit anyone on sight!
Especially for someone like Kingpin who knew Ryan's true identity, after Ben and May died, he would definitely be Ryan's first target of suspicion and the first to be devoured by the backlash!
That's why, back when he first saw Ryan sitting ostentatiously in his office without even wearing a mask, having no intention of hiding his identity from him,
Kingpin knew that Ryan's parents were no longer just Ryan's parents—they were Kingpin's own life-sustaining parents!
Ryan was a double-edged sword that had to be handled with extreme caution!
That's why he had instructed his double that if Ryan came, to tell him not to worry about the issue with The Hand.
However, Ryan hadn't been too worried to begin with. Hearing that Kingpin wanted to solve it himself, he stopped paying attention to it.
He didn't come here for Kingpin's nonsense this time; he had his own important business.
"I'm borrowing your boss's computer."
Ryan's sentence wasn't a question, but merely an announcement.
He didn't care if Kingpins Impersonator agreed or not; he had already sat down in Kingpin's chair of his own accord and turned on the computer.
And he skillfully entered the password and accessed the desktop.
This left Kingpins Impersonator completely bewildered. You have to understand, even he, the double, didn't know Kingpin's computer password!
Because this computer contained far too many of the Kingpin Group's shady dealings!
This made Kingpins Impersonator extremely anxious, but he didn't dare to stop Ryan directly.
Therefore, he could only walk to a corner, take out his phone, and secretly dial the real Kingpin.
However, after Kingpin picked up and learned about this, he simply told his double calmly to go pour some tea for Ryan and not let him get thirsty while he was on the computer.
