Now it was just four of us me, my dad, he and his dad my dad said " so do you both want to talk alone" keifer said " it's okay I just want to ask something to her infront of you only "now he looked at me i look at my dad and then at him
He said " you go first, any questions"
Isn't he nervous or what and what will I ask him " no I don't have any questions right now" I said
"So, I will only ask you one question" I nodded then he said " do you want to do this engagement" my breath cought I can't even process I froze what should I say ughh why did he ask this question
He just remove that coldness and said " hey I ask you a question can you please answer that"
My dad said " yes keifer she will do the engagement" he asked me not you dad why are you answering you know I don't want to
He said to my dad " okay your opinion is yes fine now" he looked at me " her turn say something"
I said " uhmm I-I-I actually I .. uhmm" I hesitated ofc then he said a little softening his eyes just a little and leaned in a Little " I say once so you better get this in your head say your opinion I am asking yours not mine not your parents not my parents your If you don't say you will regret your whole life"
He is right if I don't say now then when on our wedding day ofc I have to say
I said " I actually want to" he looked calm like waiting for my answer quietly not forcing no pressure just waiting I continued " I want to get admission in my dream college and want to live a life with freedom that's just what I want "
He leaned back a Lil and then his father said" Jay you can do this after engagement we don't have any problem so don't worry" I was about to say something then my dad said "yes jay he is right I know him you can trust him" I said " I trust unc-"
Keifer cut me off " dad she said her opinion I respect that" his dad said " so keifer you are saying to cancel it " keifer said " why do you always have to look negative is only cancel an option you can postpone it"
He added " dad she wants to live with freedom I will respect her space but she will have a tag of fiancee always and " he turned to my dad " uncle I know you so well I didn't expect this I had a hope you will respect her choices"
My dad sighed and said " keifer you are right" then he look at me and said " okay we will postpone the engagement for 3-4 years" uncle added " yes right, only if jay is okay " I nodded "thankyou you papa and uncle " they nodded and then uncle said " jaspher I am going to the rest room" my dad said " I also want to wash my hands " uncle nodded they both gone
I looked at keifer " thankyou mr.watson" with a smile " you can call me keifer" he said expressionless I added " uhm okay keifer" he nodded and said " learn to take your side no one else will always be there to speak for you " I just nodded
Then I look around I found food there I wa hungry ofc I haven't eaten properly tomorrow and today I just turned to keifer and said " excuse me" he nodded I go to take my food and eat I was so fucking hungry
After almost 1-2 hours it was time to go back dad and uncle keizer were ahead of all behind them mom and aunt serina and behind them in a distance was me i look around but keifer was not there i continued walking
Then suddenly I feat a presence behind me leaned down lips almost tounching my ears and whispered " you are looking breath taking "
My mind froze my heart gone my breath a Lil too fast then I turned a Lil just to find keifer walking beside me looking forward and smirking I immediately hit his arm and said " gago" he turned towards me slowly rubbing his arm and learning a little " ouch that hurts" he said a little dramatically I shot him a glare
Then he laughed softly I turned toward my car said good bye to everyone they also said bye and then we left
