Cain had just returned from where he had gone and entered the villa with Jade, whom he had gone to meet earlier after having a devastating argument with Tara. He walked into the house, leaving Jade behind to come in on his own.
"Harriet," Cain called.
At first, there was no reply, but when he called again, "Harriet," he finally heard a response.
Harriet came into view from the kitchen.
Cain looked around the sitting room and found it strange. Tara hardly stayed in her room unless she wanted peace and quiet or simply wanted to sleep. He turned to Harriet and asked,
"Where is she?"
"Aah, you mean young miss, eldest young master?"
"Mmh," Cain replied.
"Well, she went to the hospital," Harriet answered.
Cain looked at Harriet sharply. "Did I not tell you that if something happened to her, you were supposed to inform me? So why didn't you call and let me know something was wrong?" Cain said coldly.
Harriet lowered her head in shame because she had nothing to say in her defense.
