More like the concept of fairness had simply been deleted and everyone was waiting for it to respawn.

Hakari leaned forward.

Flexed them once.
Then spoke casually.
"…So I have both of your abilities now."
Silence.
Raiden blinked.
"…Excuse me?"
Akari slowly raised a finger.
"…That's not how that works."
Takeru shrugged.
"…So like… yeah."
Silence got worse.
Yuji immediately stood up.
"NO, NO, NO—YOU CAN'T JUST SAY 'YEAH' AND MAKE IT LEGAL!"
Megumi pressed a hand to his forehead.
"…He absorbed them during the spar, didn't he."
Hakari pointed aggressively.
"…WHY IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE IN A PHYSICAL ONLY FIGHT?!"
Sukuna clicked his tongue.
"…Of course you did."
Takeru nodded once.
"…You guys were using your bodies."
A pause.
"So I just… learned it."
Akari stared at him.
"…That's not learning."
Raiden muttered from the floor.
"…That's theft with extra steps."
Takeru thought about it.
Then shrugged again.
"…Same thing."
Silence.
Fred slowly walked into frame holding a sign:
"Balance patch required immediately."
Yuji pointed at Takeru again.
"…You are not allowed to keep evolving mid-conversation."
Takeru smiled slightly.
"…No promises."
