A/N: Should I just kill the higher-ups?
...
Screech!
The curse spirit let out a painful scream as numerous tentacles lashed around, destroying the buildings.
Satoru watched the struggling cursed spirit and calmly waved his hand. Numerous wind blades slashed through the slimy body, cutting it into pieces.
Suguru stared at the cursed spirit, which had turned into the size of a baby's fist but was still recovering, and then he heard Satoru's voice.
"You want it?"
"Hm?" Suguru raised his head and saw Satoru pointing to the curse spirit.
"I mean the curse spirit. It's stronger than a normal first grade," Satoru said.
Suguru turned and stared at the slowly recovering cursed spirit. He didn't reply; instead, he stood up and walked to the curse spirit. Squatting down, he opened his palm, and the curse spirit turned into a ball of cursed energy. He swallowed it, the taste causing him to grimace slightly.
"Tentacles and regeneration…" Suguru muttered and stood up, turning to Satoru.
"My thanks," Suguru said.
"It's nothing."

The days passed by in a blur, going by calmly and ordinarily. After their mission failed, the higher-ups seemed to have gotten quiet, with no meeting. This slowed down Satoru's plan, and he had to secretly make a trip back to the clan to switch clones.
But these ordinary days of Satoru's were soon interrupted by a mission from the chat group.
[Ding!]
[Chat group member—I refuse to marry has spent 100 points to summon you to her world.]
[Do you accept?]
[Y/N]
Before the new chat group mission could sink in, Satoru received a private message from Rias.
[I refuse to marry: Satoru, I need your help.]
[The honored one: Hm? Is anything wrong?]
[I refuse to marry: Riser Phenex is coming to the human world a few days from now... I believe he intends to finalize our engagement.]
"Hm?" Satoru, who was sitting in class listening to Masamichi, paused.
[The honored one: Didn't Mio say you have Issei? He should be able to help, shouldn't he?]
[I refuse to marry: Unfortunately, I do know Issei Hyoudou... He's already dead]
[I refuse to marry: This is my responsibility. Ever since joining the chat group at 10, my decisions have been made to benefit me... and now, because of my oversight, the balance of the world has been disrupted. Just as Mio once warned.]
[The honored one: Ok. I'll be coming now.]
'It's also a way to blow off some steam before the next higher-ups meeting' Satoru thought as he pressed the 'Y' option. The world paused and then turned into a kaleidoscope of colors that filled his vision.
...
The world of High School DxD.
Kuoh Academy, Occult Club.
Rias sat in her seat, anxiously tapping the armrest.
"Rias-buchou, you should drink some tea," a girl said as she walked towards Rias with a tray of tea. She had long black hair with violet eyes; her smile was warm and approachable, and her Kuoh uniform strained under her curvaceous figure.
"Thank you, Akeno," Rias said with a smile and took a sip of the tea, staring at the chat group panel visible only to her.
"Rias-buchou, this helper... would he really be able to defeat Riser?" Akeno voiced her concern. She knew the despair her Queen and friend felt about the marriage, but unfortunately, the engagement was made by her parents and for the betterment of the devil faction. Now, hearing that someone could help Rias, Akeno was concerned for her, hoping Rias wouldn't get her hopes too high only for them to come crashing down brutally.
"Mhm... If he can't help, no one can," Rias said, sipping her tea with a confident smile. Satoru had agreed. If before Rias had been having second thoughts on whether Satoru could help her, now—after he acquired basic Vector manipulation—she was sure: defeating Riser would be as easy as drinking water to him.
Rias set her tea down and turned to Akeno. "He's here."
Swoosh!
Suddenly, in the middle of the room, multiple colors slowly gathered, forming a vortex that created a powerful gale, causing everything to sway violently. Akeno stepped forward; a magic circle materialized before her, shielding her and Rias from the fierce gale.
After a while, a figure stepped out from the magical portal, hands in his pockets and a small smile on his face. The blindfold that covered his upper face couldn't diminish his handsome features, and even with the fierce gale, his hair didn't move.
"Rias. I'm here," Satoru said with a smile. Rias also smiled, relief and gratefulness swelling in her chest, and with a nod, she said:
"Satoru. Welcome."

A/N: My Patreon got busted. Since I posted R‑18 content on the website, they busted it, and the only way to reopen it is to show proof that I'm 18 (which I'm not). So I was thinking: if I opened another one, I'm not planning to post 18+ chapters in it, but here on Webnovel or on Discord. But I feel like I'll be cheating those that are paying. What do you guys think?
