"Now the question is how do I go about doing that?" I mutter to myself as I look at the plethora of items in the shop but not knowing the correct path to take.
I was in a situation of Choice Overload, to many paths that lead in too many different directions that ultimately get me nowhere as a result.
"I can't choose…. Damnit!" I say before slamming my fist down on the counter as I'm left stuck with too many options.
Sometimes basically having the entire multiverse worth of items makes it so you can't make a decision.
"Shop, what's the best way to achieve godhood?" I decide to ask the only thing that can possibly answer.
[My systems were created only for running the shop without any knowledge outside of the shops functions, though there is an option to ask the Multiversal Akashic Records your question for 100 Credits] The shop responded back.
"The Akashic Revords? I thought the recorded all types of magic?"
[The Multiversal Akashic Records are every version of the Akashic Records from all over the Multiverse, the one you know is only one of the myriad versions of the Akashic Records, the Multiversal one has information on everything in existence and can answer any question.] The shop explained to me.
"Well since I'm not hurting on Credits, Then let's ask it how one becomes a god of Blood and how one becomes a God of the Hunt." I say using 200 credits to get my answers for myself.
[For one to become a God one must garner {Faith} and {Believers} that will follow your word and your will, this is the most foundational building blocks to become a god however that path is both long and slow.]
[Other Ways would be to Usurp the Authority of a God to gain your own Divinity if one has the strength to do so or gain divinity through the favor of higher gods that already walk the path you wish to step upon]
[To become a God of Blood one would need {Faith} and {Believers} who partake in a bloody path in your name and gain power by you gifting them your blood thus binding them to you, but the amount of blood required would need to be the result of untold billions killed in you name]
[However that process could be skipped with Blood Divine Cores from the bodies of gods, those could either be gifted to you or gained through force]
[The Same Applies for becoming a God of the Hunt require the same things one as the God of Blood would need but for Hunting instead]
[However since you have access to the shop you can skip all of this and gain godhood easily, but compared to even minor gods you would be weaker as you have no {Believers} or {Faith} to back up your powers as a result you would have akin to false divinity and not putting you on the same level of gods or even minor gods]
[The Suggestion the Akashic Records gives is doing a bit of both the easy and hard way to gaining Divinity, gather {Believers} and {Faith}for yourself and then using the shop to gain your False Divinity and over time it will become true divinity and bring you further into your true path to Godhood.]
The system related to me what it said however that was easier said then done, problem was that none of my subordinates currently would become my followers.
'Why? You made Seras and Briar yourself, surely they would believe you to be a god in their eyes, after all you made them.' Someone might ask me.
And to that I'd say, it's complicated, {Believers} need to believe in me and me alone with no loyalties to anyone else, but since they were from Nazarick they also see Ainz, Pero and Buku as gods equal to me even though I am also their creator.
The only way for them to become my believers I would need to separate myself from Nazarick entirely and make them come with me, but doing so would make the NPC's see me and them as traitors leading to a war that I wouldn't desire to see and neither would Ainz and the others.
But I can't just make new life on the level of Seras, Briar or Shalltear for that matter, and summons wouldn't work as they don't have enough intelligence for that with Lesser Vampires barely making that threshold along with Vampire Brides.
I would need to convert people from this world and make them my thralls, or gain Believers from other worlds, but the problem the Shop opens in random locations all the time.
"Wait, Shop can I make it so the Door to the Multiverse opens to any world I want?" I decided to ask the shop.
[If the Owner is asking if the shop can be upgraded to include that function then the answer is yes it can, however the cost to upgrade the shop to allow openings in specific worlds at the owners discretion will be 1.1 million credits to upgrade it to Level 3]
"Oh, well that's not so- Wait, level 3? Then what was level 2?" I start to say before realizing the shop skipped a level.
[Level 2 expands the size of the shop to integrate a kitchen allowing the user to serve up fresh meals for yourself or customers, though a chef is required to run the kitchen of course, otherwise the counter is expanded and becomes a sit down bar for customers to order drinks at standard currency's outside the shops credits, though for rarer drinks and food will require credits to be ordered.]
"A kitchen huh…. Say what is level 4 then?" I ask.
[Level 4 is another expansion on the shop of your choice, though the cost is 100 million credits with Level 5 making it so you can enter and exit worlds without needing the permission of your customers to come and go as you please or needing to do bounty's such as the situation in the world of Kuroinu before, though Level 5 would cost you 1 Billion credits] it explained more.
And that was the truth, if Celestine not prayed for aid I wouldn't have been able to do anything unless LuuLuu woke up to beg for help and possibly by then it would have been to late for that world at that point with it falling deep into depravity.
Sure I healed the princess knights of everything that happened to them but that's it, I didn't do that to everyone else because I saw no benefits for myself in doing so, I'm no hero of justice as while I hated what those assholes did I am not a savior nor do I have a savior complex so they have to deal with what happened.
I was at least kind enough to kill all the pregnancies that were within their bodies but I wouldn't return their bodies to their virgin state, what's done is done and they have to live with it and move on.
"Well since I have the credits let's set it forth, upgrade the shop to level 5." I say to the system.
Soon enough 1.11 Billion credits were deducted from my account as the shop began to reshape itself to a much larger size compared to before.
After 10 minutes the changes were finished and the shop was upgraded to level 5 with a new kitchen section to the shop that would remain inactive for now along with a door that has a 'Under Construction' Sign in front of it.
I took it that's to represent the new area I haven't decided on yet.
"Now I need to find a chef to work here in order to make food, Emiya? No I've heard versions of him working at plenty of other shops across the Multiverse already, it should be someone new and unexpected, but who is known for being one of the best cooks in their reality….. Ehh I can think about it later." I said to myself as the kitchen isn't the main attraction of the shop.
This store is selling goods first and food second, I mean this isn't a Multiversal Restaurant where food is all I do so for now that can wait.
What I am really looking for is the best way to get Believers to slowly begin my path towards gaining Faith, and of the two Paths I wish to follow the Path of Blood will be the easiest to call upon followers, but which world should I choose?
"…. Oh, I know which one I should use first." I say after figuring it out, so I punch in the coordinates for that world and had the door to the shop appear where I wanted it to.
Now all I had to do was sit and wait for the one I want to see to enter my little shop of mine.
