"How soon can we move my parents?" I asked.
Phoenix's head snapped up from the notepad he had been writing in. His eyebrows pulled together as he looked across the desk at me.
"Move them?"
I nodded. "Just temporarily. I do not like the idea of them being there while all of this is happening. If Steven is involved and things go wrong, they could become a target without knowing why."
His expression shifted into understanding and he gave me a small, quiet smile. "I can have a taxi arranged to bring them here by six this evening."
I chewed the end of my pencil absently. "How long is the drive? My mum gets car sick so we might need to factor that in."
"Half six then," he said, something lightly amused in his voice. "I will have a room prepared on your floor."
